New Teen Mom UK

Sorry the 2nd post is later this week, got a bit behind with things. :)

Teen Mom UK is back for another series! The British version of the popular Teen Mom franchise (itself a spin-off of the MTV reality show 16 and Pregnant) starts in early April and there have been some changes to the cast.

Series 7 sees the introduction of new mum Emma and the exits of Sassi Simmonds and Shannon Wise. They've both decided to take a break. Sassi, 21, says she's just concentrating on her family for now (daughter Zen'aya, 3 and on/off boyfriend and Ze'anya's dad Darren Quirk) and Shannon's reason is that after giving birth to her and boyfriend Charlie's second son Frankie last July, (little brother to 3 year old Theodore), she didn't feel ready to go back to filming and wants to just concentrate on being a mum. Shannon also shared that she and Charlie are no longer together and are co-parenting.

Emma Finch

Emma, 17, from Birmingham, has 5 month old son Jeremiah. She hasn't had an easy time in recent years, having been excluded from school and diagnosed with autism. Her mum is supportive though, which is a big help. In other TM UK news, we will see Amber Butler give birth to her 2nd child Hudson (a brother for her 5 year old son Brooklyn with on/off boyfriend Ste Rankine) and Megan Salmon-Ferrari has a new boyfriend! Megan has been through a lot with her ex Dylan Siggers (dad of kids Mackenzie, now 4 and Dulcie-Mae, nearly 3) in the past, so it will be good to see her moving on and happier. And although Amber and Ste are currently separated, I hope that they are able to get on well and co-parent to the best of their ability. :)

There is also the shock news that Jordan Edwards has cheated on Chloe Patton, with whom he shares Marley. :( I was shocked to see that in the trailer.

 Series 7 of TM: UK starts on Wednesday 1st April at 8pm on MTV UK.

We're finally getting the new season of the reality TV series Unexpected in the UK! Season 3 was shown in the US last summer , and I wondered when we'd get it here. I don't have any online streaming services so thought I'd just watch clips on YouTube, lol. However it's now starting here in early March. Similar to the popular MTV franchise Teen Mom , Unexpected focuses on teen parents. The first series featured 3 couples expecting babies- Lily Bennett and her boyfriend James Kennedy who have daughter Aaliyah, now 2;  Mckayla Adkins and partner Caelan Morrison who have son Timothy, also known as Timmy (and now daughter Gracelynn , born in January 2019), and  Lexus Scheller and boyfriend Shayden Massey who have daughter Scarlett. South Indian Videos

I've written several Bollywood posts this year but I don't feature South Indian music/films as much. So today I'm sharing some music and dance videos from Tollywood ( the Telugu language film industry) and Kollywood (the Tamil language film industry). :) Oo Antava Mawa- Pushpa- Dance Cover by Sonali First up is a dance cover of the song Oo Antava Mawa..Oo Oo Antava from the 2021 Tollywood film Pushpa: The Rise- Part 1 . I previously featured a dance cover of Oo Antava Mawa in a Dance Videos post in August last year. 20th Anniversary of Mariah's The Emancipation of Mimi Album- Part 1

My favourite singer Mariah Carey is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of her 10th studio album The Emancipation of Mimi. It was released back in April 2005. I'd planned to write just one post about the album but it was turning into a really long one, so I've decided to divide it into two parts! Here is Part 1. :) The Emancipation of Mimi (or TEOM for short!) was considered Mariah's "comeback album" at the time, following on from her previous two albums, Glitter (2001) which was accompanied by the film of the same name and Charmbracelet (2002). Neither the Glitter movie or album were very well received and after going through a difficult time in general, Mariah had an emotional and physical breakdown and checked into hospital that summer.
