I'm having computer problems at the moment, so I'm not able to do a second post this week. Sorry about that! 🙂 I am still able to blog on my phone but it might be tricky doing longer posts. I hope to get my computer sorted soon, but if not I should be able to keep doing the Weekly Music Videos. And hopefully do some other posts too.  Hope everyone has/is having a great weekend! ☺️

This week's video is butterflies (written in lower case), the latest single by Filipina singer Denise Julia . It's a chilled R'n'B song and reminds me of older songs from the 00s! :)  Butterflies was released on 26th February. Teen Mom UK (the British version of the popular American reality franchise Teen Mom , a spin-off of MTV's 16 & Pregnant ) is back for a new series, this time with a new generation of teen mums!  Teen Mom UK started back in 2016 and has run for 8 series so far. S1 followed 5 girls- Chloe Patton, Naomi Konickova, Mia Boardman, Amber Butler and Megan Salmon-Ferrari. In S2 Naomi left and was replaced by Sassi Simmonds. And S4 in 2018 , saw both Megan and Mia take a break from the show and the addition of a new mum, Shannon Wise. In Series 7 , Sassi and Shannon took a break and Emma Finch joined, and then Sassi returned for S8. Hopefully we will still get to catch up with the UK "OGs" (Original Girls) in the future. :) And now here is the next generation! The 5 new mums are Chloe, Angel, Ellie, Whitney and Isha. This week's video is Kya Say? by Indian singers Sukriti and Prakriti , and Indian rapper, singer and film producer Badshah .  Sukriti and Prakriti Kakar are twins. Both are playback singers for Bollywood film s and their careers got started with Goti Song from Nasha and the title song of Boss in 2013. Prakriti also sang the title song of Tutiya Dil in 2012. Their older sister Akriti is a playback singer too. In addition, Sukriti is known for the hit songs Pheli Baar from the 2015 film Dil Dhadakne Do and Kar Gayi Chull from Kapoor & Sons , which also featured Badshah (see below), Fazilpuria and Neha Kakka r (no relation). Most recently she provided the female vocals for Jhoome Jo Pathaan, from the new movie Pathaan . Prakriti's hits include Katra Katra from Alone (2015), the female version of Bheegh Loon from Khamoshiyan and Dil Ki Darji from Stree (2018). Last summer I wrote a post featuring two Filipino groups, boyband SB19 and girl group BINI. I thought it would be fun to make a regular (or perhaps semi-regular like C-pop Saturday !) series, so today I'm featuring the Filipina girl group KAIA . :)   KAIA is a 5 member P-pop (Pinoy pop) group formed by ShowBT Philippines (like SB19) in 2021. The group name is from the Cebuano word "Kinaiya", a noun that describes  your inner character. The fandom name is ZAIA. The members are leader Angela (full name Charlotte Angela Caperas Hermoso), her twin sister Charice (Charice Andrea Caparas Hermoso), Charlotte (Charlotte Erica Fransdel Pendon Secretario), Sophia (Sophia Alexandra Ogayon Mercado and Alexa (Alexandra Pelagio Averilla). This week's music video is [Trigger] by my favourite Japanese singer Koda Kumi (or Kumi Koda in Western terms). It's from her latest release, WINGS, a music and live package EP which was released in January. The album contains 6 songs, including the title track which came out as a digital single last August, Trigger and It's 'K' Magic, released in March 2022. The video for Trigger was uploaded on 17th January, a day before the EP came out. It's an R'n'B song with a good beat, that provides a cool contrast to the ballad [Wings]. Time for the first dance videos post of the year! Today I'm sharing some dance covers of songs by Japanese girl group XG . These videos are in the same style as K-pop in Public and J-pop in Public . While XG are Japanese, they are considered a global group and their singles so far have been in English, so that's why their dance cover videos tend to be listed as "Dance in Public" (and sometimes J-pop in Public). :) Tippy Toes Dance Covers Back in October I shared a dance cover of the girls' debut single Tippy Toes (released last March) in my More J-pop in Public Dances post.
