Dance in Public- XG Dances

Time for the first dance videos post of the year! Today I'm sharing some dance covers of songs by Japanese girl group XG. These videos are in the same style as K-pop in Public and J-pop in Public. While XG are Japanese, they are considered a global group and their singles so far have been in English, so that's why their dance cover videos tend to be listed as "Dance in Public" (and sometimes J-pop in Public). :)


Tippy Toes Dance Covers

[DANCE IN PUBLIC] XG- 'MASCARA' Dance Cover ONE TAKE- big bRAIN

Next up is a dance cover of XG's second single MASCARA, which came out last June. It's performed by Rain, an Australian dancer who mainly does K-pop cover dances, and other dancers. Her channel is called big bRAIN.

The performance took place at Pitt Street Mall in Sydney and features Rain as Jurin, Irene as Chisa, BB as Hinata, Cheryll as Harvey, Rachelle as Juria, Connie as Maya and Audrey as Cocona. The video (which premiered in September) is a one-take, meaning it was shot all in one go.

[DANCE IN PUBLIC] XG 'SHOOTING STAR' ONE TAKE Cover- BL00M

SHOOTING STAR is the group's latest single and was released in January. It's a digital single which also features the song LEFT RIGHT (see below). This is a cover by Australian dance group BL00M. 

This is also a one-take cover. The video premiered on 28th February.

[DANCE IN PUBLIC] XG- 'SHOOTING STAR' LONDON- Giifty

And here is another SHOOTING STAR cover, this time by British K-pop dancer Giifty and friends. :) It was filmed in Piccadilly Circus in London.

The dancers are Giifty as Jurin, Dani as Maya, Melody as Hinata, Amari as Cocona , Kiki as Chisa, Nozomi as Juria and Sian as Harvey. The video was uploaded yesterday (3rd March).

[DANCE IN PUBLIC ONE TAKE Left Right Dance Cover by PonySquad

Finally, here is a dance cover of LEFT RIGHT, the other song on the SHOOTING STAR single. It's peformed by Spanish dance and K-pop cover group Pony Squad Official. The video was uploaded on 23rd February.

Weekly Music Video

Sorry there wasn't a 2nd post last week, I was going through a bit of a stressful time and didn't manage to get one finished. :) This week's video is I CONDEMN by Australian singer and rapper The Kid LAROI . It was the first single from the deluxe version of his second album BEFORE I FORGET. The original album was released in January and the deluxe version came out on 24th April. It contains 9 extra tracks, including  I CONDEMN and latest single PIECES. I wasn't aware that there was a deluxe version until I saw that some new songs had appeared on Spotify! I like BEFORE I FORGET and my favourite songs from the original version are ME + YOU, JULY,  COME DOWN and RATHER BE featuring Australian rapper and singer Lithe . One of my fave songs on the deluxe version is QUIT YOU, and I also like HOLD STILL and I CONDEMN. The newest single PIECES came out on out the same day as the album. I CONDEMN was released on 17th April. As with the songs on the original BEFORE I FORGET, it...

K-pop Comebacks- BTS

Sorry the 2nd post is later again this week, I didn't manage to get it finished yesterday. :) Last month I started a mini series called K-pop Comebacks, featuring the comebacks of K-pop groups during 2026.
