Teen Mom UK: The Next Generation

Teen Mom UK (the British version of the popular American reality franchise Teen Mom, a spin-off of MTV's 16 & Pregnant) is back for a new series, this time with a new generation of teen mums! 

Teen Mom UK started back in 2016 and has run for 8 series so far. S1 followed 5 girls- Chloe Patton, Naomi Konickova, Mia Boardman, Amber Butler and Megan Salmon-Ferrari. In S2 Naomi left and was replaced by Sassi Simmonds. And S4 in 2018, saw both Megan and Mia take a break from the show and the addition of a new mum, Shannon Wise.

In Series 7, Sassi and Shannon took a break and Emma Finch joined, and then Sassi returned for S8. Hopefully we will still get to catch up with the UK "OGs" (Original Girls) in the future. :)

And now here is the next generation! The 5 new mums are Chloe, Angel, Ellie, Whitney and Isha. I don't have that much information on the girls as yet, but will update as and when I do. :)

Chloe

Chloe-Elizabeth Elliott 19,  from Yorkshire, is a single mum to daughter Elizabeth-Hope, who is 15 months. Chloe has endometriosis and fibromyalgia, and is raising awareness of the conditions. She was also a finalist in the Miss South Yorkshire 2019 beauty pageant and is a mental health advocate.

Angel

Angel Brooker is 18 and is from Burnham-On-Sea in Somerset. She has 1 year old son called Teddy with her boyfriend Matt.

Ellie

Ellie Jones is 19 and has 3-year-old son Tommy, whose dad is her boyfriend Luke.

25th Anniversary of Mariah Carey's Butterfly Album

The original album was released on 16th September 1997 and featured songs such as her hit single Honey, The Roof and My All. New J.Lo and JoJo Music

Two singers I like, Jennifer Lopez and JoJo have new music out, so today I'm sharing it on the blog! Jennifer Lopez- Baila Conmigo First up is Jennifer Lopez, whose new song is the Spanish language Baila Conmigo (Dance with Me). It's a cover of the 2018 single by Dayvi featuring Kelly Ruiz . New Unexpected

We're finally getting the new season of the reality TV series Unexpected in the UK! Season 3 was shown in the US last summer , and I wondered when we'd get it here. I don't have any online streaming services so thought I'd just watch clips on YouTube, lol. However it's now starting here in early March. Similar to the popular MTV franchise Teen Mom , Unexpected focuses on teen parents. The first series featured 3 couples expecting babies- Lily Bennett and her boyfriend James Kennedy who have daughter Aaliyah, now 2;  Mckayla Adkins and partner Caelan Morrison who have son Timothy, also known as Timmy (and now daughter Gracelynn , born in January 2019), and  Lexus Scheller and boyfriend Shayden Massey who have daughter Scarlett. Season 2 saw the departure of Lilly and the addition of 3 new pregnant girls and their partners- Laura Barron and her boyfriend (now husband) Tylor Stawmyor who have son Lucas (and have since had another baby , a 2nd son, who is named Leo),
