Dance in Public- GIRLSET Dances

Sorry the 2nd post is later this week; I didn't manage to get it finished. :) 

American girl group GIRLSET (formerly known as VCHA) are notable for being the first American girl group formed using the K-pop system. So it's not surprising that they are also popular in the cover dance world, which is known for K-pop in Public (dance covers of K-pop songs performed in public places). 

I previously featured a GIRLSET cover in my Dance in Public Videos post in February. There are lots more covers, so today I'm sharing more videos of different GIRLSET songs. :) They're listed variously as Dance in Public, Pop in Public or K-pop in Public.

Note: There are older dance covers from when the group was VCHA but in this post I'm focusing only on their music as GIRLSET.  

 

[KPOP IN PUBLIC] GIRLSET - Commas | DANCE COVER | ALPHA SQUAD FROM VENEZUELA

First up is a dance cover of Commas, the group's first single as the rebranded GIRLSET. It was released in August 2024. The cover is by Alpha Squad. They are a dance cover group made up of girls from different parts of Zulia, a state in Venezuela.

The video premiered last September and features Andrea as Kendall, Yochii as Savanna, Isa as Camila and Gio as Lexi.

[DANCE IN PUBLIC] GIRLSET - 'Commas' Dance Cover by PrettyG from Barcelona, Spain

Here is another Commas cover, this time by PrettyG. They are a cover dance group from Barcelona, Spain, consisting of 5 girls and 1 boy. 

The video premiered in October. The dancers are Humi as Lexi, Joel as Kendall, Daira as Camila and Carol as Savanna.

DANCE IN PUBLIC] GIRLSET 'Little Miss' ONE TAKE Cover by BL00M

Next we move onto Little Miss, GIRLSET's 2nd single, which was released in November last year. I featured a cover of the song by Australian dance cover group BL00M in my Dance Videos post earlier year.

[DANCE IN PUBLIC] | ONE TAKE] 'Little Miss' DANCE COVER BY AMOUR | SINGAPORE

Here is another dance cover of Little Miss. This one is performed by AMOUR Dance Crew from Singapore. They formed in 2024.

The video premiered in February and is a one-take (meaning it was filmed all in one go). The dancers are Kris as Savanna, Gladycia as Lexi, Bea as Camila and Grace as Kendall.

[KPOP IN PUBLIC | TIMES SQUARE] GIRLSET - 'Tweak' Dance Cover | ONE TAKE

And now we move onto Tweak, the group's most recent single. It was released on 6th March. 

The dance cover is by ccloria (Gloria) and friends. The video premiered in March and was filmed in Times Square, New York (US). The dancers are Gloria as Kendall, Emily as Camila, Jessica as Savanna and Valentina as Lexi.

[DANCE IN PUBLIC] GIRLSET - Tweak DANCE COVER from Taiwan

And finally, here is another Tweak cover, this time by Zonex2getHER from Taiwan. 

The video was uploaded in April and the dancers are Xinyu as Kendall,  Rosie as Savanna, SINYU as Camila and AMY as Lexi.

K-pop Comebacks- BTS

Sorry the 2nd post is later again this week, I didn't manage to get it finished yesterday. :) Last month I started a mini series called K-pop Comebacks, featuring the comebacks of K-pop groups during 2026. They debuted in 2013 and are a 7-member group, made up of leader RM, formerly known as Rap Monster (real name Kim Nam Joon), SUGA (Min Yoon Gi), Jin (full name Kim Seok Jin), j-hope (Jung Ho-seok), Jimin (Park Ji Min), V (Kim Tae Hyung) and Jungkook (Jeon Jung Kook). * Since then, the boys have been very successful, not only in South Korea but internationally. New Unexpected

We're finally getting the new season of the reality TV series Unexpected in the UK! Season 3 was shown in the US last summer , and I wondered when we'd get it here. I don't have any online streaming services so thought I'd just watch clips on YouTube, lol. However it's now starting here in early March. Similar to the popular MTV franchise Teen Mom , Unexpected focuses on teen parents. The first series featured 3 couples expecting babies- Lily Bennett and her boyfriend James Kennedy who have daughter Aaliyah, now 2;  Mckayla Adkins and partner Caelan Morrison who have son Timothy, also known as Timmy (and now daughter Gracelynn , born in January 2019), and  Lexus Scheller and boyfriend Shayden Massey who have daughter Scarlett.
