T-pop in Public Videos 2025

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote a post featuring some Asian Dance in Public videos (dance covers of Asian songs performed in public). It was a follow up to my first post in February.

There were a few T-pop (Thai pop) videos I came across which didn't make the post, so I'm featuring them today. :)


[TPOP IN PUBLIC | ONE-TAKE] 4EVE - 'Hot2Hot' DANCE COVER | DOUBLE R. SQUAD from SINGAPORE

First up is a dance cover of Hot 2 Hot by Thai girl group 4EVE. The single was released in March 2024.

The cover is performed by DOUBLE R. SQUAD, a dance cover team based in Singapore. The team was founded in 2015, with the goal of showcasing their "many flavours and variety". 

The video is a "one-take" (meaning it was filmed all in one go) and was uploaded in September last year. It was filmed in Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and features Tasha as Hannah, Ashley as Mind, Chloe as Fai, Edwina as Taaom, Elaina as Punch, Jacey as Aheye and Qian as Jorin.

[TPOP IN PUBLIC] HOT2HOT - 4EVE Dance Cover

And here is another cover of Hot 2 Hot, this time by Fidan and other dancers. I think they're from Germany.

The video was uploaded in July.

[TPOP IN PUBLIC] | ONE TAKE] 4EVE - BOYS LOVE GIRLS dance cover by PBeach

And here is another 4EVE cover that I just came across today! This one is a dance cover of BOYS LOVE GIRLS, which came out in December last year. It's performed by PBeach, a cover dance team based in Moscow, Russia.  

The video is a one-take and was uploaded in May. Please note that the song contains swearing. :)

[TPOP IN PUBLIC] TOBII - 'HOTEL LOBBY' | MINIZIZE CHOREOGRAPHY | MAVERIK | AUSTRALIA

Next up is a dance cover of the single Hotel Lobby by Swiss/Thai rapper and R'n'B singer Tobii. Released in March, it's been popular in the cover dance wold and I've shared a couple of covers on the blog before.

The choreography is by Thai dance studio MINIZIZE and quite a few dance groups performed their version, although a couple (like Phenikaa Art Club whose cover I shared in my More Asian Dance in Public Videos post) have done their own choreos.

This dance cover is by MAVERICK, a K-pop dance crew from Sydney, Australia and marks the first time the group has covered a T-pop song. This is the MINIZIZE choreography.

The video premiered on 4th November and the dancers are Mon, Donna, Clarissa, Pat and Denise.

RIZZ ME UP - EMPRESS feat. เบิ้ล ปทุมราช | Dance Cover by TheStageClub

Finally, here is another dance cover that I just came across today. This one is a cover of RIZZ ME Up the latest single by Thai girl group EMPRESS (released on 4th October). It features a rapper whose name I can't read because I don't speak Thai, so please let me know if you know the Romanisation of his name! :) 

The cover is by TheStageClub and they're from Thailand.

We're finally getting the new season of the reality TV series Unexpected in the UK! Season 3 was shown in the US last summer , and I wondered when we'd get it here. I don't have any online streaming services so thought I'd just watch clips on YouTube, lol. However it's now starting here in early March. South Indian Videos

I've written several Bollywood posts this year but I don't feature South Indian music/films as much. So today I'm sharing some music and dance videos from Tollywood ( the Telugu language film industry) and Kollywood (the Tamil language film industry). :) Oo Antava Mawa- Pushpa- Dance Cover by Sonali First up is a dance cover of the song Oo Antava Mawa..Oo Oo Antava from the 2021 Tollywood film Pushpa: The Rise- Part 1 . I previously featured a dance cover of Oo Antava Mawa in a Dance Videos post in August last year. 20th Anniversary of Mariah's The Emancipation of Mimi Album- Part 1

My favourite singer Mariah Carey is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of her 10th studio album The Emancipation of Mimi. It was released back in April 2005. I'd planned to write just one post about the album but it was turning into a really long one, so I've decided to divide it into two parts! Here is Part 1. :) The Emancipation of Mimi (or TEOM for short!) was considered Mariah's "comeback album" at the time, following on from her previous two albums, Glitter (2001) which was accompanied by the film of the same name and Charmbracelet (2002). Neither the Glitter movie or album were very well received and after going through a difficult time in general, Mariah had an emotional and physical breakdown and checked into hospital that summer.
