Thamma Videos

Sorry the 2nd post is later this week, I had a busy day yesterday and then wasn't feeling well. :)

One of the things I featured was Thamma, the new Bollywood horror comedy and the latest in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. I also shared the video for the song Tum Mere Na Huye from the film. It was released as the first single on 29th September.

There are 4 singles in total- Dilbar Ki Aankhon Ka, Rahein Na Rahein Hum and Poison Baby, which were all released in October.

Today I thought I'd share the videos for rest of the singles :)

 

Tum Mere Na Huye from Thamma

Dilbar Ki Aankhon Ka

Next up is the 2nd single Dilbar Ki Aankhon Ka, which was released on 7th October. The title translates as something like "Eyes of the Beloved" in English. The playback singers are Rashmeet Kaur and Jigar Saraiya (one half of composer duo Sachin-Jigar, along with Sachin Sanghvi) who also produced the music for the film. 

Dilbar Ki Aankhon Ka is an item number, featuring Moroccan Canadian dancer, actress and singer Nora Fatehi. This is Nora's 2nd time appearing in a video for the Maddock franchise, having previously starred in Kamariya from Stree (2018).

The two main stars Ayushman Khuranna and Rashmika Mandanna (who play Alok and Tadaka) also make an appearance in the video.

Rahein Na Rahein Hum

Rahein Na Rahein Hum (Whether I Live or Not) was the 3rd single, coming out on 10th October. The singers are Soumyadeep and Sachin-Jigar, and the video features scenes from the film.

Poison Baby

Finally, here is Poison Baby, the 4th single. It was released on 13th October and the singers are Indian American singer Jasmine Sandlas, Sachin-Jigar and Divya Kumar.

Poison Baby is another item number and it features actress Malaika Arora alongside Rashmika dancing in a club.

We're finally getting the new season of the reality TV series Unexpected in the UK! Season 3 was shown in the US last summer , and I wondered when we'd get it here. I don't have any online streaming services so thought I'd just watch clips on YouTube, lol. However it's now starting here in early March. South Indian Videos

I've written several Bollywood posts this year but I don't feature South Indian music/films as much. So today I'm sharing some music and dance videos from Tollywood ( the Telugu language film industry) and Kollywood (the Tamil language film industry). :) Oo Antava Mawa- Pushpa- Dance Cover by Sonali First up is a dance cover of the song Oo Antava Mawa..Oo Oo Antava from the 2021 Tollywood film Pushpa: The Rise- Part 1 . I previously featured a dance cover of Oo Antava Mawa in a Dance Videos post in August last year. 20th Anniversary of Mariah's The Emancipation of Mimi Album- Part 1

My favourite singer Mariah Carey is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of her 10th studio album The Emancipation of Mimi. It was released back in April 2005. I'd planned to write just one post about the album but it was turning into a really long one, so I've decided to divide it into two parts! Here is Part 1. :) The Emancipation of Mimi (or TEOM for short!) was considered Mariah's "comeback album" at the time, following on from her previous two albums, Glitter (2001) which was accompanied by the film of the same name and Charmbracelet (2002). Neither the Glitter movie or album were very well received and after going through a difficult time in general, Mariah had an emotional and physical breakdown and checked into hospital that summer.
