Here is my first Asian Groups post of 2025! I started this series (which showcases groups from various Asian countries) back in March 2023, so nearly two years ago now! My last post in the series was in September, so it's been a while, lol.
Today I'm featuring Thai girl group 4EVE and Taiwanese boyband/boy band Ozone.*
4EVE
4EVE were formed in Bangkok (Thailand's capital city) in 2020, through the reality survival TV show Girl Group Star. They are signed to Thai record label XOXO Entertainment (who also manage boyband ATLAS).
The group consists of 7 members- Mind (real name Atitaya Tribudarak), Jorin (full name Jorin Khumpiraphan), Taoom (Benyapa Unjit), Hannah (Hannan Rosenbloom), Fai (Nattaya Buttura), Punch (Tipanan Nilsiam) and Aheye (Korranid Laosubinprasoet).
Hannah is Laotian-American (she has a Laotian mum and an American dad), but born in Thailand, later moving to Laos as a child. Punch is half Chinese and half Thai, and from Thailand.
4EVE made their debut in December 2020, with the single Oohlala! It was followed in March 2021 by their debut album Tales of 4EVE: The First Album and the lead single (TEST ME) reached Top 10 in the Spotify charts.
The group have also released 3 EPs/albums- Special Album: TRICK OR TREAT (2021), LESS IS MORE (2022) and their most recent, NOW OR NEVER Part 1, which came out in February last year. Their other singles include LIKE A BLINK, 4EVER, Nobody's Perfect, (LESS IS MORE)/Thai title Little Things, Life Boy (Thai title I'm talking about Lifeboy), I Like Boys, Hot 2 Hot, Situationship and their latest, BOYS LOVE GIRLS.
Oohlala!
This is Oohlala!, 4EVE's debut single, which came out in December 2020. It's from The First Album and is a sassy pop song, with a mixture of Thai and English lyrics. Click "Subtitles/closed captions" on YouTube for English subtitles! :)
VROOM VROOM
Here is VROOM VROOM. It was the 5th single from the girls's 3rd EP NOW OR NEVER and was released in December 2023.
This is more of an R'n'B/hip hop song with some rapping. It's also a mix of Thai and English lyrics.
Hot 2 Hot
Hot 2 Hot was released in March last year. It's a sexy pop song about being a confident girl encouraging a would-be lover to pursue her. It has more English lyrics than some of the other songs.
This music video is the official dance version.
BOYS LOVE GIRLS
And here is BOYS LOVE GIRLS, the group's latest single. This is an-all English song about relationship dynamics between men and women. The video premiered on 23rd December.
Please note that the song contains swearing! :)

Ozone
6-member group Ozone was also formed on a reality TV show, the Taiwanese survival show Atom Boyz, and they are signed to Sony Music Taiwan. Their name comes from the word "Ozone" and its chemical formula "03" and it stands for "Origin", "Optimism" and "Originality".
The members are Zuan/Andrew (full name Zhou Zuan), Zixiang/Samuel (Zhou Zixiang), Wenting/Tin (Huang Wenting), Jiachen/Summer (Lin Jiachen), Huanjun/Rex (Lin Huanjun) and Zheyan/Jim (Li Zheyan).**
Ozone debuted in November 2022 with the digital single O.A.O. They released their debut EP Unicorn a month later.
Last September, the group released their debut album New Moon. To date they have brought out one more digital single, Purple Days and several special singles, including Phone Call From You, Sha La La With U, The Day Closest to Love, World Top and their latest, Midwinter (released in December). The members have also released singles individually or in duos.
O.A.O
This is O.A.O, Ozone's debut single. The title stands for "One and Only". It's a digital single from their first EP Unicorn and came out in November 2022.
O.A.O. is a romantic song about singing to your "one and only". English subtitles available! :)
Can't control it
Here is Can't Control it. It was the theme song for the LINE TV 2022 Taiwanese sci-fi/romantic drama HisStory5: Love in the Future.
Can't control it is a laidback song with R'n'B vibes. The video premiered in January 2023.
Looking at the Crescent Moon/New Moon
This is New Moon, the first song of Ozone's that I came across. I think the Chinese title is "Looking at the Crescent Moon Together" or something similar). It's the title track from the boys' debut album and was released last September.
New Moon "combines ancient traditional elements with modern technology to present an artistic experience". (I hope this is accurate; I used Google Translate!) The song and video are about love, memory and hope, with the members singing, "If we watch the crescent moon together/Would you love me?"
In the video Ozone perform a bow dance, which reflects the "dreamlike poetry of the moonlit night". I like the mix of traditional Chinese culture with modern elements. :)
December Day/Midwinter)
And here is Ozone's latest single, Midwinter (or December Day, which is the Chinese title). It was released just before Christmas (19th December) and is described as the group's romantic Christmas confession. It was Ozone's first Christmas single and was created by the members themselves.
This is the official audio. It's mostly Chinese with some English lyrics. No subtitles available, unfortunately!

Hope you enjoyed the post! :) I plan to feature more Asian groups this year. Let me know your favourite groups! :)
*Over the years I've changed the way I spell "boyband" because "boy band" seems more common. But I also it see it spelt together sometimes and prefer that spelling!
** These are Taiwanese/Chinese names with the surname/family name written first.
