Dance Videos

It's been a while since I've done a dance themed post, so today I'm sharing some videos! It's actually my first general dance videos post of the year and we're already halfway through 2023! Lol. 


Popular K-pop dances that everyone knows!- Sandy&Mandy

First up is a K-pop video! Taiwanese twins Sandy and Mandy are performing popular K-pop dances, including Genie by Girls' Generation, Bubble Pop! by HyunA, BLACKPINK's As If It's Your Last and Red Velvet's Bad Boy (one of my fave songs of theirs!).



Sandy and Mandy have also launched a music career! They released their debut single BOMBSHELL last summer and their second single Freak this April.

DANCE IN PUBLIC XG 'Shooting Star' Dance Cover- AO CREW (Australia)

Here is a dance cover of SHOOTING STAR by Japanese girl group XG (because I'm still into this song!). It was released in March, along with the song LEFT RIGHT. 

The cover is by AO Crew, a K-pop cover dance group from Melbourne in Australia. The group was formed in 2013 and won the KPOP World Festival in 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017. 

The video (which was uploaded in March) was filmed at the Moomba Festival in Melbourne. It features Lizzy as Chisa, Cecilia as Hinata and Carmen as Jurin, plus guest dancers Sonya (Maya), Fresha (Juria) and Hustle Dance Crew members  Nancy (Harvey) and Pearl (Cocona).

SIMPLE AMAPIANO Dance Moves for Beginners- Dance Tutorial by Presh Okosi 

Here is a new video by Nigerian Afro-dancer and dance teacher Presh Okosi. I hadn't checked in with her channel in a while, so it's good to see her posting again! :)

She is teaching some easy Amapiano dance moves. Amapiano is a sub genre of house music which originated in South Africa and has now become popular around the world, including in Nigeria! The video was uploaded on 28th May.

KPOP IN PUBLIC TIMES SQUARE] TWICE- MOONLIGHT SUNRISE Dance Cover by Harmonyc Movement

Finally, here is more K-pop. It's a dance cover of girl group TWICE's MOONLIGHT SUNRISE, which was released in January.

The cover is by American K-pop dance cover team Harmonyc. They are a diverse group of dancers based in New York, who aim to break barriers within the K-pop community and be a safe space for people of all backgrounds. 

The video was uploaded on 2nd June.

Weekly Music Video

Sorry there wasn't a 2nd post last week, I was going through a bit of a stressful time and didn't manage to get one finished. :) This week's video is I CONDEMN by Australian singer and rapper The Kid LAROI . It was the first single from the deluxe version of his second album BEFORE I FORGET. The original album was released in January and the deluxe version came out on 24th April. It contains 9 extra tracks, including  I CONDEMN and latest single PIECES. I wasn't aware that there was a deluxe version until I saw that some new songs had appeared on Spotify! I like BEFORE I FORGET and my favourite songs from the original version are ME + YOU, JULY,  COME DOWN and RATHER BE featuring Australian rapper and singer Lithe . One of my fave songs on the deluxe version is QUIT YOU, and I also like HOLD STILL and I CONDEMN. The newest single PIECES came out on out the same day as the album. I CONDEMN was released on 17th April. As with the songs on the original BEFORE I FORGET, it...

K-pop Comebacks- BTS

Sorry the 2nd post is later again this week, I didn't manage to get it finished yesterday. :) Last month I started a mini series called K-pop Comebacks, featuring the comebacks of K-pop groups during 2026.
