This year I'm sharing some spooky music videos! :)

Shakedown- At Night

Back on Hallowe'en 2012 (9 years ago now!!) I featured At Night by Swiss dance duo Shakedown as a Weekly Music video. The single was released in 2002. Watch it here https://starsparklex.blogspot.com/2012/10/weekly-music-video_31.html

Red Velvet- RBB

Next here is RBB (Really Bad Boy) by Korean girl group Red Velvet. This was a Weekly Music Video the day before Hallowe'en 2019: https://starsparklex.blogspot.com/2019/10/weekly-music-video_30.html

Nadiyon Paar (Let the Music Play/Play Again) from Roohi

Now for some Bollywood! In March I posted Nadiyon Play (Let the Music Play/Play Again) from the Bollywood comedy horror film Roohi. Watch it here: https://starsparklex.blogspot.com/2021/03/weekly-music-video_31.html

Aayi Aayi from Bhoot Police

This is Aayi Aayi from another Bollywood comedy horror film Bhoot Police ("Ghost Police") which came out in September. It stars Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor as brothers Vibhooti and Chiraunji, tantriks (a type of magic practioner, I think) who run an exorcist business that's not entirely above board. They are asked to come to a remote village by Maya (Yami Gautam) whose tea estate is troubled by an evil spirit, but find themselves in over their heads!

They also face complications from Maya's older sister Kanika (played by Jacqueline Fernandez) who doesn't believe in ghosts. I haven't seen this but it looks worth a watch. :)

The Aayi Aayi video features Saif, Arjun and Jacquline. The playback singers are Vishal Dadlani, Sunidhi Chauhan and Mellow D (rap).

NCT 127-  Favorite (Vampire)

Finally, back to K-pop! This is the new song Favorite by Korean boyband NCT 127 (a sub-unit of the larger group NCT).It's the lead single from the repackaged version of their 3rd album Sticker, originally released in September, Favorite came out on 25th October, along with the title track.

Engish subtitles are available on YouTube! :)

Hope you liked the post! What are your favourite scary music videos? Happy Hallowe'en! :)

South Indian Videos

I've written several Bollywood posts this year but I don't feature South Indian music/films as much. So today I'm sharing some music and dance videos from Tollywood ( the Telugu language film industry) and Kollywood (the Tamil language film industry). :) Oo Antava Mawa- Pushpa- Dance Cover by Sonali First up is a dance cover of the song Oo Antava Mawa..Oo Oo Antava from the 2021 Tollywood film Pushpa: The Rise- Part 1 . I previously featured a dance cover of Oo Antava Mawa in a Dance Videos post in August last year. That one is by Rang De and you can see it here: https://starsparklex.blogspot.com/2023/08/dance-videos.html This cover is by Indian choreographer Sonali Bhaduria, from LiveToDance with Sonali and was uploaded in January 2022. It's a shorter video.   For more on Pushpa and to watch the official Oo Antava Mawa video, check out my Tollywood Videos Round-up 2 post from September 2023: https://starsparklex.blogspot.com/2023/09/tollywood-videos-round-up-2.html ...

Weekly Music Video

Sorry there wasn't a 2nd post last week, I was going through a bit of a stressful time and didn't manage to get one finished. :) This week's video is I CONDEMN by Australian singer and rapper The Kid LAROI . It was the first single from the deluxe version of his second album BEFORE I FORGET. The original album was released in January and the deluxe version came out on 24th April. It contains 9 extra tracks, including  I CONDEMN and latest single PIECES. I wasn't aware that there was a deluxe version until I saw that some new songs had appeared on Spotify! I like BEFORE I FORGET and my favourite songs from the original version are ME + YOU, JULY,  COME DOWN and RATHER BE featuring Australian rapper and singer Lithe . One of my fave songs on the deluxe version is QUIT YOU, and I also like HOLD STILL and I CONDEMN. The newest single PIECES came out on out the same day as the album. I CONDEMN was released on 17th April. As with the songs on the original BEFORE I FORGET, it...

K-pop Comebacks- BTS

Sorry the 2nd post is later again this week, I didn't manage to get it finished yesterday. :) Last month I started a mini series called K-pop Comebacks, featuring the comebacks of K-pop groups during 2026. The first one was about BLACKPINK and you can see it here:  https://starsparklex.blogspot.com/2026/03/k-pop-comebacks-blackpink.html Today I'm focusing on BTS (one of the most popular Korean boybands ). They debuted in 2013 and are a 7-member group, made up of leader RM, formerly known as Rap Monster (real name Kim Nam Joon), SUGA (Min Yoon Gi), Jin (full name Kim Seok Jin), j-hope (Jung Ho-seok), Jimin (Park Ji Min), V (Kim Tae Hyung) and Jungkook (Jeon Jung Kook). * Since then, the boys have been very successful, not only in South Korea but internationally. They are probably one of the most well-known K-pop bands worldwide.  In June 2022, the group took a break while the members served their  mandatory military service in Korea and have also been concentrat...
