V-pop in Public

Back in March I did my first post featuring Chinese dance in public. I've previously shared a variety of dance videos and written posts dedicated to K-pop in Public). You can see it here: https://starsparklex.blogspot.com/2021/03/chinese-dance-in-public.html

Dance covers of songs in public places have become really popular in the last few years, K-pop ones in particular. But there are also C-pop and V-pop in Public covers too, as well as general dance ones.

The dance I shared in the Chinese post above was performed by Vietnamese dance crew YNG. I noted at the time that they also do Vietnamese pop dance covers, so today I'm featuring one! :)


(VPOP IN PUBLIC CHALLENGE) Sáng mắt chưa- Dance cover & Choreo by YNG

This is a dance cover of the 2019 single Sáng mắt chưa? (Are You Seeing Clearly?)  by Vietnamese singer Trúc Nhân. The video was uploaded in August 2019.

Hope you liked the post! I plan to feature more general dance videos this year (seems weird that we're already in June!), also some belly dance ones. I miss dancing in person, although I've danced occasionally at home. Please recommend me any more Vietnamese dance videos, or ones from any genre! :)

Weekly Music Video

Sorry there wasn't a 2nd post last week, I was going through a bit of a stressful time and didn't manage to get one finished. :) This week's video is I CONDEMN by Australian singer and rapper The Kid LAROI . It was the first single from the deluxe version of his second album BEFORE I FORGET. The original album was released in January and the deluxe version came out on 24th April. It contains 9 extra tracks, including  I CONDEMN and latest single PIECES. I wasn't aware that there was a deluxe version until I saw that some new songs had appeared on Spotify! I like BEFORE I FORGET and my favourite songs from the original version are ME + YOU, JULY,  COME DOWN and RATHER BE featuring Australian rapper and singer Lithe . One of my fave songs on the deluxe version is QUIT YOU, and I also like HOLD STILL and I CONDEMN. The newest single PIECES came out on out the same day as the album. I CONDEMN was released on 17th April. As with the songs on the original BEFORE I FORGET, it...

K-pop Comebacks- BTS

Sorry the 2nd post is later again this week, I didn't manage to get it finished yesterday. :) Last month I started a mini series called K-pop Comebacks, featuring the comebacks of K-pop groups during 2026.
