K-pop in Public- Boys' Edition!

Sorry the second post is later this week; I was a bit behind and didn't manage to get it finished. Also, I accidentally deleted it but luckily, I had most of it saved elsewhere! :)

Since a lot of the dancers and dance teams I've featured are female (I seem to come across all-girl ones more often), I thought today I would have an all boys' edition! I'm sharing several covers of Kai's MMMH, plus a couple of other videos. :)

 

 


(KPOP IN PUBLIC) (ONETAKE) MMMH Dance Cover- HIMI x 9BIT x SOULITE( Australia)


First up is a collaboration between H I M I . C R E W, 9BIT DANCE and SOULITE DANCE. The Australian based Himi Crew was formed in September last year and is made up of two sub-groups- Sage Crew (all-male) and Charméd Crew (all female). They primarily do K-pop dance covers. 


In this video (uploaded in February)  they are dancing to MMMH, the debut solo single by Kai (member of EXO and SuperM). The main dancer is Duy and the back-up dancers are from 9bit and Soulite.

(KPOP IN PUBLIC PARIS) KAI- MMMH- Dance Cover- HIGHER CREW

 

Here is another cover of MMM, this time by HIGHER CREW from France. They are a K-pop and hip dance crew from France.

The video was filmed in Paris in January and the "Kai" dancer is Paul. This one is actually my favourite out of all the MMMH covers! (Although all of them are good.) :)

Here is the last MMMH cover for today! This one is by SS MOB, also from France and was uploaded at the beginning of the year. It was the main dancer's first solo video.

(KPOP IN PUBLIC-) EXO 'OBSESSION' Dance Cover- B-Wild (X-EXO Ver)

Now onto EXO! This is a cover of their 2019 single Obsession by B-Wild from Vietnam. The video is from December 2019.

GOT7 'LAST PIECE' Dance Cover by EchoDance HK

 

Finally, here is a cover of Last Piece, GOT7's single which was released back in November. It's performed by EchoDanceHK, who are part of the Hong Kong based company EchoEnt.


Update 18/5/24: The video has now been made private, which is a shame. I had to update the EchoEnt channel link, so maybe they've made a new one.

Weekly Music Video

Sorry there wasn't a 2nd post last week, I was going through a bit of a stressful time and didn't manage to get one finished. :) This week's video is I CONDEMN by Australian singer and rapper The Kid LAROI . It was the first single from the deluxe version of his second album BEFORE I FORGET. The original album was released in January and the deluxe version came out on 24th April. It contains 9 extra tracks, including  I CONDEMN and latest single PIECES. I wasn't aware that there was a deluxe version until I saw that some new songs had appeared on Spotify! I like BEFORE I FORGET and my favourite songs from the original version are ME + YOU, JULY,  COME DOWN and RATHER BE featuring Australian rapper and singer Lithe . One of my fave songs on the deluxe version is QUIT YOU, and I also like HOLD STILL and I CONDEMN. The newest single PIECES came out on out the same day as the album. I CONDEMN was released on 17th April. As with the songs on the original BEFORE I FORGET, it...

K-pop Comebacks- BTS

Sorry the 2nd post is later again this week, I didn't manage to get it finished yesterday. :) Last month I started a mini series called K-pop Comebacks, featuring the comebacks of K-pop groups during 2026.
