I just shared some Korean videos then, but today I'm also sharing some Japanese ones. I recently updated it, so there are some new ones on there. :)
Mariya- Motion (J-pop)
First up is Motion by Mariya . She is a Japanese model, actress and singer from Fukuoka Prefecture. Her full name is Mariya Nishuichi (or Nishiuchi Mariya in Japanese terms) and she is the younger sister of Hiromui Nishuici who was a member of J-pop group BeForU.*
Mariya launched her singing career in August 2014 with the single Love Evolution, and her other singles are 7 Wonders, Arigato Forever, Save Me, Chu Chu/Hello, Believe and Motion. She is one of the top models in Japan, and has won several Best New Artist Awards with her music.
Motion came out in February 2017 and was Mariya's 7th single. I believe she is more of a model and actress, and hasn't released any music more recently. This isn't the full video.

Koh Nayoung feat. Microdot- I Like (K-pop)
Next is I Like by South Korean solo singer Koh Nayoung (or Na Young).*. She got her start in the music business as a contestant on Season 6 of Superstar K in 2014, and in August 2015 brought out the digital single Only For You. The song was from web drama Sweet Temptation which starred the girl group T-ara.
In 2016 Nayoung released her first single album ar:ke. Her latest single is Unlock the Key, which came out in October.
I Like It was released in November 2016 and features rapper Microdot.

The Boyz- Reveal (K-pop)
This is Reveal, my favourite song by Korean boyband The Boyz. The group was formed in 2017 and currently consists of 11 members- leader Sangyeon (full name Lee Sang Yeon), Jacob (Jacob Bae), Younghoon (full name Kim Young Hoon), Hyunjae (Lee Jae Hyun), Juyeon (Lee Ju Yeon), Kevin (Kevin Moon), New (real name Choi Chan Hee), Q (real name Ji Chang Min), Juhhakneyon (Ju Hak Neyon/Zhou He Nian), Sun Woo (Kim Sun Woo) and Eric (real name Son Young Jae).
The Boyz were originally named Cre.kerz and they started out as a 12-member group, but Hwall (Heo Hyun Joon) left in October 2019 for health reasons. It's a bit of an international band, since Kevin and Jason are both Canadian (Kevin is Korean born) and Eric is America (born in Korea and moved to the US as a child). Also, Juhakneyon is half Chinese and half Korean, and lived in Hong Kong in the past. You may also know Kevin and Jacob from their roles as co-hosts on Simply K-pop!
The Boyz debuted in December 2017 with the EP The First and its lead single Boy. To date they have released 5 more EPs- The Start (2018), The Only (2018), Dreamlike (2019), their Japanese release Tattoo (2019) and Chase (2020). In addition, they have brought out two single albums; The Sphere (2018) and Bloom Bloom (2018) and the studio album Reveal. Their 12 singles include Boy, Right Here, No Air, Bloom Bloom, Tattoo (Japanese), Checkmate, Reveal and The Stealer.
The Boyz' latest EP is The Chase which was released in September, and their newest single is The Stealer, which came out on the same day.
Reveal is the title single from the boys' debut studio album, released in February.

Ellie feat OLLITI- WAY UP (K-pop)
This is WAY UP, the debut solo single from Ellie, formerly a member of WeGirls. She left the group in July (as did fellow member Nina) and released WAY UP in August.
Ellie (real name Lee Sang Kang) was previously a member of girl group HOTTIES. They disbanded in 2017 and she went on to join WeGirls in 2018. She was also an MC on Pops in Seoul from 2019 to early 2020, presenting a segment called Reading the Lyrics with Wyatt from ONF.
WAY UP is a pop/dance song with a nice summer vibe. I'm missing summer right now! lol. The song features rapper OLLTII.

JASMINE feat. Ak-69- COCOROZASHI (J-pop/J-R'n'B)
Here is COCORAZASHI, a song by J-R'n'B singer JASMINE. I first came across her music back in 2011, and then earlier this year I found out that she'd released music more recently. Her song Eyes On Me is also on my playlist.
COCORAZASHI came out in August last year, and features hip hop artist AK-69.
SuperM- One (Monster & Infinity) (K-pop)
Finally here is One (Monster & Infinity) by SuperM, the newest addition to my playlist! SuperM is a supergroup, formed in 2019 by SM Entertainment (one of the biggest entertainment companies in South Korea) and the American Capitol Music Group.
The group is made up of 7 members from the boybands EXO, SHINee and NCT- leader Baekyhun (full name Byun Baek Hyun), Taemin (Lee Tae Min, Kai (real name Kim Jong In), Taeyong (Lee Tae Yong), Ten (real name Chittaphon Leechaiyapornkul), Lucas (Huang Xuxi/Wong Yuk-hei) and Mark (Mark Lee/Lee Min Hyung.
Baekhyun and Kai are from EXO, Taemin is a member of SHINee, Ten and Lucas are from NCT U and WayV, Taeyong is from NCT U and NCT 127, and Mark is a member of NCT U, NCT 127 and NCT Dream. NCT U, 127, Dream and WayV are all sub units of the main group NCT.
Like The Boyz (see above), the group also has an international flavour. Ten is from Thailand (he is Thai Chinese), Lucas is half Chinese and half Thai and grew up in Hong Kong, and Mark is Canadian.
SuperM debuted in October 2019 with their self-titled EP. They released their debut single Jopping on the same day. They have brought out 3 more singles since- 100, Tiger Inside and One (Monster & Infinity, plus two promotional singles; Let's Go Everywhere (a collaboration with Koren Air and With You. They released their debut studio album Super One this September.
One (Monster & Infinity) is a mix of the tracks Monster and Infinity, and was released in September, Both the individual songs and One are from Super One.

*Japanese Korean and Chinese names are written with the surname/family name first. Some of the foreign members have theirs written in the Western way though. :)
