Sorry the 2nd post is later again this week. I aim to post twice weekly, once with the Weekly Music Video on Wednesday and again with another post on Fridays or Saturdays, but am a bit behind with things again. Never mind. Hope everyone is doing well. :)

EXO- Growl

SISTAR- Alone

SISTAR- Give It To Me

Here's Give It To Me, another of my favourite SISTAR songs. It was released back in June 2013 and is from their second album of the same name. Click "Subtitles/Closed Captions" while watching on YouTube for English subtitles! :)



Hoody- Baby Oh Baby

Nice, mellow song from Korean R'n'B singer Hoody. This was her 2nd single, released in August 2014. I'm thinking of doing a Korean summer music feature this year, and Baby Oh Baby would be good for that!
 


Moon Hyuna- CRICKET SONG

This was the debut solo song of Moon Hyuna (also known Hyun A), former member of girl group 9MUSES. *She left the group in October 2016, and released CRICKET SONG the following March as a digital single, as part of the single album of the same name.

The song is about not being able to sleep and hearing the sounds of the crickets at night. I like the calming vibe of it. :) You can find the lyrics and English translation here: http://www.kpopscene.com/moon-hyuna-nine-muses-cricket-song/

 TVXQ!- Love Line

Here is Love Line from TVXQ! They were originally a 5 member boyband (also known as Dong Bang Shin Ki). Members Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu left in 2010 and became the trio JYJ. TVXQ! returned as a duo in 2011, consisting of U-KNOW  and Max Changmin.

Love Line is taken from TVXQ's 8th album New Chapter #1: The Chance of Love and came out in April 2018.

 Jay Park X 1MILLION feat. Hoody and Loco- All I Wanna Do

In October 2016 Korean American rapper and singer Jay Park teamed up with Hoody (see above) and rapper Loco  on the K-R'B song All I Wanna Do. The video features dancers from the South Korean dance studio 1MILLION.

This video is the Choreography version. 




Hoody and Jay Park also worked together on the single Solo, which is on my playlist as well.

Jung Jinwoo- Color

Jung Jinwoo is a member of the  project group PLT which consists of 6 artists signed to Plantarium Records.* He started out in the reality music show K-pop Star 5 and then made his solo debut in September 2016 with the mini album In My Room. He released the digital single Reminiscence in 2017 and his first studio album Rotate in 2018.

Color was a double title track from Rotate, along with She's Got Everything, releasing in November 2018. I like how it starts off all chilled then "bursts out" on the chorus. The video has a "dreamy" vibe too.

New Unexpected

We're finally getting the new season of the reality TV series Unexpected in the UK! Season 3 was shown in the US last summer , and I wondered when we'd get it here. I don't have any online streaming services so thought I'd just watch clips on YouTube, lol. However it's now starting here in early March. Similar to the popular MTV franchise Teen Mom , Unexpected focuses on teen parents. The first series featured 3 couples expecting babies- Lily Bennett and her boyfriend James Kennedy who have daughter Aaliyah, now 2;  Mckayla Adkins and partner Caelan Morrison who have son Timothy, also known as Timmy (and now daughter Gracelynn , born in January 2019), and  Lexus Scheller and boyfriend Shayden Massey who have daughter Scarlett. South Indian Videos

I've written several Bollywood posts this year but I don't feature South Indian music/films as much. So today I'm sharing some music and dance videos from Tollywood ( the Telugu language film industry) and Kollywood (the Tamil language film industry). :) Oo Antava Mawa- Pushpa- Dance Cover by Sonali First up is a dance cover of the song Oo Antava Mawa..Oo Oo Antava from the 2021 Tollywood film Pushpa: The Rise- Part 1 . I previously featured a dance cover of Oo Antava Mawa in a Dance Videos post in August last year. 20th Anniversary of Mariah's The Emancipation of Mimi Album- Part 1

My favourite singer Mariah Carey is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of her 10th studio album The Emancipation of Mimi. It was released back in April 2005. I'd planned to write just one post about the album but it was turning into a really long one, so I've decided to divide it into two parts! Here is Part 1. :) The Emancipation of Mimi (or TEOM for short!) was considered Mariah's "comeback album" at the time, following on from her previous two albums, Glitter (2001) which was accompanied by the film of the same name and Charmbracelet (2002). Neither the Glitter movie or album were very well received and after going through a difficult time in general, Mariah had an emotional and physical breakdown and checked into hospital that summer.
