More K-pop in Public Dances

I'm feeling more inspired than last week and thought it was time for a new K-pop in Public post (almost exactly a year after the first one!). So, I'm sharing a variety of dance covers today! :)

 

(KPOP IN PUBLIC ONE TAKE) Kai (Mmmh)- LB Dance Project DANCE COVER

First up is a cover of Mmmh, the debut solo single by Kai (member of EXO and SuperM). It's by LB Dance Project who are from Vietnam. They cover V-pop (Vietnamese) dances as well as K-pop.  

There are several "Kais" in this one- Loki, Kah and Zun! The video premiered in January and was shot in one take, as the title indicates! :)

(KPOP IN PUBLIC) NCT- " Resonance"- Dance Cover by Bias Dance
 
Here is a cover of NCT 20's  Resonance, released in December. It's performed by Bias Dance, a dance crew from Australia. Bias Dance is part of the Unimelb Kpop Club, based at the University of Melbourne. There is also a singing group called Bias Vocal.

The video was originally uploaded in January, then re-uploaded in April. I won't list all the dancers because there are 22 of them, but you can find their names and individual links in the video info box on YouTube! :)

(KPOP IN PUBLIC CHALLENGE) EVERGLOW DUN DUN cover- ZOOM IN (Taiwan) 

Now for the girls! This is a cover of girl group EVERLOW's DUN DUN by Zoom In from Taiwan. It was uploaded in March last year.

(KPOP IN PUBLIC- 1 TAKE) NCT 20 'RESONANCE' DANCE COVER- UNWRECKABLE X BKAV

And here is another cover of Resonance this time by Unwreckable and BKAV from Vietnam. 

The video was uploaded in January. It's also a one take video. As with the other RESONANCE video, I haven't listed all the dancers but you can find their names under the video when viewing on YouTube. :)

Rollin' by Brave Girls covers

Girl group Brave Girls originally released the single Rollin' in March 2017. There was also a new version released as a thank you to fans in August 2018. While the song wasn't a bit hit the first time, it became more popular earlier this year, due to a viral YouTube video of Brave Girls performing it.  The song was a No. I in Korea in March. I remember seeing the girls perform it on Simply K-pop and thinking it looked familiar!

So there have been quite a few dance covers this year! Here are 3 of them.

 

One Take dance cover by FOXY Russia

Here is a cover by the Russian based FOXY COVER DANCE TEAM. It was posted in May. The dancers are Inna, Sasha, Olives, Aika and Xenia.

(KPOP IN PUBLIC)- 2020-2021 COMEBACK MEDLEY by ECLIPSE    

And finally, here is a comeback medley video by American group ECLIPSE, who are back from hiatus. They are dancing to STAYC's ASAP, NCT U's Make A Wish (Birthday Song) EVERGLOW'S La Di Da, BTS' Dynamite and Weeekly's After School! 

 The video premiered on 2nd August.

Weekly Music Video

Sorry there wasn't a 2nd post last week, I was going through a bit of a stressful time and didn't manage to get one finished. :) This week's video is I CONDEMN by Australian singer and rapper The Kid LAROI . It was the first single from the deluxe version of his second album BEFORE I FORGET. The original album was released in January and the deluxe version came out on 24th April. It contains 9 extra tracks, including  I CONDEMN and latest single PIECES. I wasn't aware that there was a deluxe version until I saw that some new songs had appeared on Spotify! I like BEFORE I FORGET and my favourite songs from the original version are ME + YOU, JULY,  COME DOWN and RATHER BE featuring Australian rapper and singer Lithe . One of my fave songs on the deluxe version is QUIT YOU, and I also like HOLD STILL and I CONDEMN. The newest single PIECES came out on out the same day as the album. I CONDEMN was released on 17th April. As with the songs on the original BEFORE I FORGET, it...

K-pop Comebacks- BTS

Sorry the 2nd post is later again this week, I didn't manage to get it finished yesterday. :) Last month I started a mini series called K-pop Comebacks, featuring the comebacks of K-pop groups during 2026.
