Mabel- I'll Be Home For Christmas

Here is I'll Be Home For Christmas, a new Christmas single from Swedish/British singer Mabel. Seems weird that it's already a year since she released Loneliest Time of Year! 

I'll Be Home For Christmas is a relaxing song about wanting to come home for Christmas. The audio was uploaded to YouTube on 20th November.


If you're feeling down this Christmas (and sadly, due to the current situation with the coronavirus, many people are), you may resonate with Loneliest Time Of Year. It originally came out in November 2019 and Mabel has re-released it this year, along with I'll Be Home For Christmas.

JoJo- December Baby

This is December Baby by American singer JoJo. It's from her new Christmas album of the same name which was released back in late October. I'd imagine that part of the reason it's called December Baby is because JoJo was born in December! It's actually her 30th birthday tomorrow, so Happy Early Birthday JoJo! :) 

 December Baby is about seeing a loved one again in December. The music video premiered on 7th December and the livestream December Baby Concert Special took place yesterday.

Mariah Carey

My favourite singer Mariah Carey is the "Queen of Christmas", and of course her 1994 single All I Want for Christmas (which is currently No. 1 in the UK) is a Christmas classic! This year she held a special show called Mariah Carey's Magical Christmas Special which features performances from herself and other stars, including singers Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson, rapper Snoop Dogg, actress Tiffany Haddish, ballet dancer Misty Copeland, and rapper and producer (and MC's long-time friend) Jermaine Dupri.

Unfortunately, it's only available on AppleTV+ which I don't have. But for those of us who aren't subscribed to it, we can still listen to the songs featured and see videos on YouTube!

Here's When Christmas Comes, which is from the soundtrack of Mariah Carey's Magical Christmas Special. Mariah has previously sung this with John Legend, but this is a new, solo version. I don't think this is the full song.

Weekly Music Video

Sorry there wasn't a 2nd post last week, I was going through a bit of a stressful time and didn't manage to get one finished. :) This week's video is I CONDEMN by Australian singer and rapper The Kid LAROI . It was the first single from the deluxe version of his second album BEFORE I FORGET. The original album was released in January and the deluxe version came out on 24th April. It contains 9 extra tracks, including  I CONDEMN and latest single PIECES. I wasn't aware that there was a deluxe version until I saw that some new songs had appeared on Spotify! I like BEFORE I FORGET and my favourite songs from the original version are ME + YOU, JULY,  COME DOWN and RATHER BE featuring Australian rapper and singer Lithe . One of my fave songs on the deluxe version is QUIT YOU, and I also like HOLD STILL and I CONDEMN. The newest single PIECES came out on out the same day as the album. I CONDEMN was released on 17th April. As with the songs on the original BEFORE I FORGET, it...

K-pop Comebacks- BTS

Sorry the 2nd post is later again this week, I didn't manage to get it finished yesterday. :) Last month I started a mini series called K-pop Comebacks, featuring the comebacks of K-pop groups during 2026.
