Today's video is Ma bebe by STEFANIA X FAYDEE. Stefania is a Romanian singer and Faydee is Australian.

Stefania's full name is Cristina Stefania. She was born in Galati, Romania and studied at the Dimitrie Cuclin High School of Arts, before moving to Bucharest in 2015, to pursue her passion for dancing. She kicked off her music career by releasing a cover of the song Nentori by Albanian singer Arilena Ara. (For more on Stefania's journey, check out her YouTube bio.)

Random fact: Arilena was set to be Albania's entry in the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest, before it was cancelled due to the pandemic.

Arilena discovered Stefania's cover and decided to promote her. Stefania then made her Romanian musical debut with the single Drinking About You in September 2017. She released her first album ALPHA in September 2022.

Stefania's other singles/songs include Prea Tarziu, Bad Boy, Anni mei, Te sun eu and How I Love It with Romanian musician Cezar Guna. Her most recent single is Kef Halak, a collab with Kosovar-Albanian singer Dhurata Dora.

Faydee's real name is Fady Fatrouni and he was born in Sydney, Australia to Lebanese parents. He was interested in music from a young age and was discovered online aged 19, by Ronnie Diamond, who runs record label Buckle Up Entertainment. 

After partnering with producer Divy Pota in 2008, they released several singles, including I Should've Known, Say My Name and Forget the World. Faydee's career first took off with the single Laugh Till You Cry featuring Lazy J, which was released in September 2012. It went on to become an international hit.

However, the song Habibi (I Need Your Love) with Jamaican-American rapper Shaggy, Congolese-Swedish singer Mohombi and Romanian singer Costi, is considered Faydee's breakthrough single. It was originally released in September 2014 (sung in a mixture of Arabic and English) and charted in the US and UK. Several other versions were later released in different languages, including the English I Need Your Love (with Shaggy listed as the main artist).

In August 2009 Faydee released his debut studio album Never Saw Me Coming. He has also brought out 4 EPs- Unbreakable (EP) (2013), Legendary (2016), Patterns (2017) and Cruel (2022)- and two remix EPs.

His other hit singles include Can't Let Go, Maria, Sun Don't Shine, Love in Dubai with Romanian DJ and producer DJ Sava, Nobody with American singer Kat DeLuna and Lefside, and Believe with German rapper Kay One. His latest release is the single Arabian Wifey. 

Ma bebe is a multilingual pop song and it came out in April. The lyrics are a mix of English, Arabic, Italian and Romanian, which is cool! The title and other words in the first line translate as "My baby/my love/my dear" etc. There's also a remix.

New J.Lo and JoJo Music

Two singers I like, Jennifer Lopez and JoJo have new music out, so today I'm sharing it on the blog! Jennifer Lopez- Baila Conmigo First up is Jennifer Lopez, whose new song is the Spanish language Baila Conmigo (Dance with Me). It's a cover of the 2018 single by Dayvi featuring Kelly Ruiz . New Unexpected

We're finally getting the new season of the reality TV series Unexpected in the UK! Season 3 was shown in the US last summer , and I wondered when we'd get it here. I don't have any online streaming services so thought I'd just watch clips on YouTube, lol. However it's now starting here in early March. Similar to the popular MTV franchise Teen Mom , Unexpected focuses on teen parents. The first series featured 3 couples expecting babies- Lily Bennett and her boyfriend James Kennedy who have daughter Aaliyah, now 2;  Mckayla Adkins and partner Caelan Morrison who have son Timothy, also known as Timmy (and now daughter Gracelynn , born in January 2019), and  Lexus Scheller and boyfriend Shayden Massey who have daughter Scarlett. Season 2 saw the departure of Lilly and the addition of 3 new pregnant girls and their partners- Laura Barron and her boyfriend (now husband) Tylor Stawmyor who have son Lucas (and have since had another baby , a 2nd son, who is named Leo),
