Today's video is guidance , the brand-new single by American singer Jhené Aiko . It was released yesterday (30th July). Her most recent album is 2020's Chilombo but this is a stand-alone single. guidance (written in lower case) is a gentle, relaxing song, where Jhené sings about finding God in herself and being able to stand alone . There's also a piano version, which is more "stripped back" (see below). In the past I've written a few posts featuring Bollywood stars, including Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi . Today I'm sharing some videos from the films of actor John Abraham . I've actually had this post in mind since early last year, I think but hadn't got round to it! This week's video is Repeat After Me by Guamanian singer  Pia Mia . It's her latest single and was released on 28th June.  It's been a while since Pia released anything (I think her last release was her 2021 Christmas EP ), so it's nice to hear new music from her. :) Repeat After Me is a laid back R'n'B song about finding it hard to let go of a man you're involved with. The audio was uploaded to YouTube on 27th June. Today's video is Rooftop by Korean singer YooA . Her birth name is Yoo Yeon-jeo but she legally changed it to Yoo Si-Ah (her surname/family name is Yoo) and she is a member of K-pop girl group OH MY GIRL . Interesting info: Her older brother Yoo Jun-sun is a dancer and choreographer, who works at the South Korean 1MILLION Dance Studio . After previously releasing the single Morning Call in May 2018 and two other collaborations during 2016 and 2018, YooA made her solo debut in 2020 with the EP Bon Voyage. Both the EP and title track of the same name were released in September that year. She went on to bring out her 2nd EP Selfish in November 2022. YooA's other solo singles are Lay Low, Melody, Selfish and Rooftop. This March she released her first single album Borderline. BIBI's real name is Kim Hyung-seo and she took her first steps into music by uploading songs to SoundCloud (under the name Nakedbibi). In the past I've written about several dance reality TV shows on the blog, including Dance Moms , Bring It! and Step It Up . Both Dance Moms and Bring It! have made a return to TV this year (in different formats), so I thought it would be good to do a post about the shows. This week's video is GIRLS by Australian rapper and singer The Kid LAROI . It's his latest single and was released on 28th June. LAROI released his debut album The First Time last November, which includes the singles Bleed, Too Much and Love Again. This song will likely be on his next album though, which is called SUMMER ALBUM and is expected to be released later this month . GIRLS was previewed on TikTok in May, with a snippet that went viral . It's an upbeat, poppy song about the fun and freedom of relationships and is rumoured to be about LAROI's girlfriend Canadian singer Tate McCrae . The music video features several social media influencers, including American TikTok star Alix Earle and has a fun, party vibe, good for summer.
