Weekly Music Video

Today's music video is LIT (Taekwondo ver.) by Korean boyband ONEUS. The group was formed in 2017 and 2018 through a couple of idol TV shows, but didn't make their official debut until January 2019.  There are 6 members- Ravn (real name Kim YoungJo), main vocalist Seoho (Lee Gun Min/Lee Seo Ho), Leedo (Kim Gun Hak), Keonhee (full name Lee Keon Hee), Hwanwoong (Yeo Hwanwoong) and Xion (real name Son Dong Ju).*

ONEUS released their debut EP LIGHT US in January 2019, along with the lead single Twilight. To date they have brought out 4 more EPs- RAISE US (2019), FLY WITH US (2019), LIVED (2020) and BINARY CODE (2021); and the single In Is Time (2020). They released their debut studio album DEVIL this January. 

The group's other songs include Valkyrie, To BE OR NOT TO BE, No diggity and BLACK MIRROR and their latest, Life is Beautiful. They also collaborated with alternative rock band ONEWE (their labelmates) on the pre-debut single Last Song in 2018. ONEUS have also released two singles in Japan, a Japanese version of Twilight, and 808.

This is the Taekwondo version of the song LIT, which is from ONEUS' 2019 EP FLY WITH US. I remember when it first came out as a single back in September 2019.  This is a new performance video which also features taekwondo demo team and K-pop dance cover crew K-Tigers, and dance team Born Black (who also choregraphed a dance to ONEUS' song Shut Up Crazy Hot!). It was uploaded on 30th July.

Weekly Music Video

Sorry there wasn't a 2nd post last week, I was going through a bit of a stressful time and didn't manage to get one finished. :) This week's video is I CONDEMN by Australian singer and rapper The Kid LAROI . It was the first single from the deluxe version of his second album BEFORE I FORGET. The original album was released in January and the deluxe version came out on 24th April. It contains 9 extra tracks, including  I CONDEMN and latest single PIECES. I wasn't aware that there was a deluxe version until I saw that some new songs had appeared on Spotify! I like BEFORE I FORGET and my favourite songs from the original version are ME + YOU, JULY,  COME DOWN and RATHER BE featuring Australian rapper and singer Lithe . One of my fave songs on the deluxe version is QUIT YOU, and I also like HOLD STILL and I CONDEMN. The newest single PIECES came out on out the same day as the album. K-pop Comebacks- BTS

Sorry the 2nd post is later again this week, I didn't manage to get it finished yesterday. :) Last month I started a mini series called K-pop Comebacks, featuring the comebacks of K-pop groups during 2026.
