Today I thought I'd write about some of my current favourite songs for a change. On my other blog The Seasonal Life I wrote a quick list in my May Update, so I had the idea to expand more on it here. May make this a regular feature! :)
Janine songs
Never The Right Time
I first heard of New Zealand singer Janine in 2017 but started listening to her music more recently. Never The Right Time is one of my current fave songs and it was a Weekly Music Video last month. Watch it here: https://starsparklex.blogspot.com/2019/05/weekly-music-video_8.html
Believed In You
I listened to her album 99 on Spotify and ended up buying Never The Right Time and Believe in You on iTunes a couple of weeks ago. Here's Believe In You:
Be By Myself
I also bought Be By Myself a few days ago. Please note that the song is explicit. :)
Also check out Numb which I bought at the same time as Be By Myself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SX365sQKBxI
BANKS- Gimme
This is BANKS' first solo release for two years and I recently featured it as a Weekly Music Video: https://starsparklex.blogspot.com/2019/05/weekly-music-video_22.html
She's got an album coming out in July, which I'm looking forward to. :)
NU'EST- BET BET
One of my current favourite K-pop songs is NU'EST's BET BET. Check out May's New Music Releases post to watch the video here: https://starsparklex.blogspot.com/2019/05/new-music-releases.html
They also have a dance practise video:
Another of my fave NU'EST songs as NU'EST W) is Where You At.
Kris Wu- Explore
I've bought Explore (from Kris' debut album Antares) a few months ago and still listen to it a lot. Visit this post to listen to it: https://starsparklex.blogspot.com/2019/01/weekly-music-video_16.html
JULY is one of my fave Kris songs as well. :)
Lexie Liu- Outta Time and Bygone
Now onto to C-pop! (Kris Wu has some Chinese language songs too but Explore is English). I bought these two Lexie songs in April and have been listening to them a lot as well. Check out this C-pop Saturday post to hear them: https://starsparklex.blogspot.com/2019/04/c-pop-saturday.html
So that's it! Hope you enjoyed the post. :) What music are you into currently?
