Weekly Music Video

Today's video is Youngblood by 5 Seconds of Summer. They are an Australian band consisting of 4 members. The group was formed by schoolfriends Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood and Michael Clifford in 2011. They started out by posting cover songs on YouTube and were joined by Ashton Irwin at the end of 2011, who they found through Facebook.

5 Seconds of Summer (or 5SOS) signed a deal with Sony ATV Music Publishing, then  released their first original song Gotta Get Out  and debut EP Unplugged in June 2012. Debut single She Looks So Perfect  came out in 2014, followed by their self titled debut album in the summer 2014. To date 5SOS have released 7 EPs-  including their debut, Somewhere New (2012), She Looks So Perfect (2014), Good Girls (2014) and She's Kinda Hot (2015); and 3 studio albums- 5 Seconds of Summer, Sounds Good Feels Good (2015) and their latest Youngblood. Their singles include Out of My Limit, She looks So Perfect, Don't Stop, Good Girl, She's Kinda Hot, Girls Talk Boys, Want You Back and Youngblood.

Youngblood is the second single from the album of the same name, which came out on 15th June. The single  was released in April but I've only seen the video on UK TV this month. In May it became the band's 2nd No 1 in Australia (the first was She Looks So Perfect). I haven't liked their other songs that much, but I like this one. :)

K-pop Comebacks- BTS

Sorry the 2nd post is later again this week, I didn't manage to get it finished yesterday. :) Last month I started a mini series called K-pop Comebacks, featuring the comebacks of K-pop groups during 2026. Weekly Music Video

Sorry there wasn't a 2nd post last week, I was going through a bit of a stressful time and didn't manage to get one finished. :) This week's video is I CONDEMN by Australian singer and rapper The Kid LAROI . It was the first single from the deluxe version of his second album BEFORE I FORGET. The original album was released in January and the deluxe version came out on 24th April. It contains 9 extra tracks, including  I CONDEMN and latest single PIECES. I wasn't aware that there was a deluxe version until I saw that some new songs had appeared on Spotify! I like BEFORE I FORGET and my favourite songs from the original version are ME + YOU, JULY,  COME DOWN and RATHER BE featuring Australian rapper and singer Lithe . One of my fave songs on the deluxe version is QUIT YOU, and I also like HOLD STILL and I CONDEMN. The newest single PIECES came out on out the same day as the album.
