Weekly Music Video

Today's music video is Bimar Dil from the Bollywood film Pagalpanti ("Madness" in English). The movie which was released in November is  about a unlucky trio of friends Raj (John Abraham), Junky (Arshad Warsi) and Chandu (Pulkit Samrat) who want to prove that they are not the losers people think they are. Along with their girlfriends they hatch a "get rich quick" scheme while involves gangsters' money! I haven't seen it and it doesn't have good reviews, but I like this song, lol. It is an action/comedy so it won't be taking itself completely seriously. If I see it in future I'll let you know what I think! :)

The playback singers for Bimar Dil ("Sick  Heart" or maybe "Heartsick" would be a better translation!) are Asees Kaur and Jubin Nautiyal. It's a remake of the original Tera Bemar Mera Dil from the 1989 film ChaalBaaz. I think this scene is from when the group finds an abandoned house. The ghost woman is played by Urvashi Rautela.

New Unexpected

We're finally getting the new season of the reality TV series Unexpected in the UK! Season 3 was shown in the US last summer , and I wondered when we'd get it here. I don't have any online streaming services so thought I'd just watch clips on YouTube, lol. However it's now starting here in early March. Similar to the popular MTV franchise Teen Mom , Unexpected focuses on teen parents. South Indian Videos

I've written several Bollywood posts this year but I don't feature South Indian music/films as much. So today I'm sharing some music and dance videos from Tollywood ( the Telugu language film industry) and Kollywood (the Tamil language film industry). :) Oo Antava Mawa- Pushpa- Dance Cover by Sonali First up is a dance cover of the song Oo Antava Mawa..Oo Oo Antava from the 2021 Tollywood film Pushpa: The Rise- Part 1 . 20th Anniversary of Mariah's The Emancipation of Mimi Album- Part 1

My favourite singer Mariah Carey is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of her 10th studio album The Emancipation of Mimi. It was released back in April 2005. I'd planned to write just one post about the album but it was turning into a really long one, so I've decided to divide it into two parts! Here is Part 1. :) The Emancipation of Mimi (or TEOM for short!) was considered Mariah's "comeback album" at the time, following on from her previous two albums, Glitter (2001) which was accompanied by the film of the same name and Charmbracelet (2002). Neither the Glitter movie or album were very well received and after going through a difficult time in general, Mariah had an emotional and physical breakdown and checked into hospital that summer.
