The Bollywood film Race 3 has just been released. It came out on 15th June It's a sequel to the previous two movies, Race (2008) and Race 2 (2013), and is about criminal family the Singhs, which consists of dad Shamsher (played by Anil Kapoor ), twin children Sanjana ( Daisy Shah ) and Suraj ( Saqib Saleem ), and stepson Sikander ( Salman Khan ). They run an illegal arms business are planning a high stakes heist, but things get complicated  when Sikander meets Jessica ( Jacqueline Fernandez ). Rana Vijay (played by Freddy Daruwala ) is Shamser's business rival. Bobby Deol also stars as Yash, a family friend and business partner. I've seen the first two Race films and they have a lot of twists and turns, so I expect this one is similar! I haven't seen it yet but plan to, although when it comes on TV. Today's video is Youngblood by 5 Seconds of Summer . They are an Australian band consisting of 4 members. The group was formed by schoolfriends Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood and Michael Clifford in 2011. They started out by posting cover songs on YouTube and were joined by Ashton Irwin at the end of 2011, who they found through Facebook . 5 Seconds of Summer (or 5SOS) signed a deal with Sony ATV Music Publishing, then  released their first original song Gotta Get Out  and debut EP Unplugged in June 2012. Debut single She Looks So Perfect  came out in 2014, followed by their self titled debut album in the summer 2014. To date 5SOS have released 7 EPs-  including their debut, Somewhere New (2012), She Looks So Perfect (2014), Good Girls (2014) and She's Kinda Hot (2015); and 3 studio albums- 5 Seconds of Summer, Sounds Good Feels Good (2015) and their latest Youngblood. American singer Christina Aguilera recently released a new album, her 8th studio album and first  release in almost 6 years. It's called Liberation and came out on 15th June. The songs are mostly pop/R'n'B and hip hip. So far my favourites are Like I Do featuring Goldlink, Accelerate featuring Ty Dolla $ign and 2Chainz , Deserve and Pipe featuring XNDA. Unless It's With You has grown on me as well. Here's another video by Chinese Canadian singer Kris Wu , (former member of Korean/Chinese boyband EXO ).  It's called Tian Di and is a Chinese language single (Mandarin, I think). I believe "Tian" translates as something like "Sky" or "Heaven". Update: Have just found a Twitter post a YouTube commenter linked to where Kris Wu fans posted an English translation of the lyrics. Tian Di is translated as "Heaven and Earth". Here's my first K-pop post of the year! (We're halfway through 2018 and I just realised I hadn't done one so far, lol). These are a few of the latest releases.. :) BTS- FAKE LOVE First up this is FAKE LOVE by BTS . It was released on 18th May and is from their 3rd studio album Love Yourself: Tear.

Today's video is My Love by American rapper Wale featuring American electro dance trio Major Lazer ,  Nigerian singer Wizkid and British singer Dua Lipa . Wale's full name is Olubowale Victor Aktintimehin. His parents who are orginally from Nigeria, moved to America in the late 70s and he was born in Washington DC. Wale started out by releasing the mixtape Paint a Picture in 2005. His early songs include Rhyme of the Century, Dig Dug (Shake It) and Uptown Roamers. In 2008 he signed to Allido Records (run by British DJ and singer Mark Ronson ) and Interscope. His debut album Attention Deficit came out in November 2009.  To date he has released 11 mixtapes (his most recent was 2017's Before I Shine) and 5 studio albums- Attention Deficit, Ambition (2011), The Gifted (2013), The Album About Nothing (2015) and SHINE (2017), plus EPs and collaborative albums.  Wale's most successful singles to date are Lotus Bomb featuring Miguel and Bad featuring Tiara Thomas . Christina Aguilera has a new album coming out this month. It's called Liberation and will be her 8th studio album release. It's over 5  and a half years since Christina brought out an album. Her last one, Lotus, was released in November 2012. (Wow, didn't realise it was so long ago!) She's released two songs from the new album so far. First up here is Accelerate, the lead single from Liberation. It features singer and rapper Ty Dolla $ign  and was released on 3rd May. Then this is Fall in Line which features singer Demi Lovato . It's the 2nd single from the album and came out on 20th May Liberation is due out on 15th June.
