Nelly Furtado- Te Busque Lyrics

A couple of years ago I did the Anggun Lyrics Project (where I wrote out the lyrics for songs from the English version of her album Elevation. I started a similar one with the French songs but didn't get very far! lol. However since I'm better with Spanish than French I decided to have a go at translating some Spanish lrics.

I've started out small with Canadian singer Nelly Furtado's Te Busque featuring Colombian singer Juanes. It appeared on Nelly's album Loose (2006) and was released as a single in 2007 although not in the UK, I don't think. Only the chorus is in Spanish. I found out that there is a full Spanish version though which I'm planning to listen to soon.


I wrote out the lyrics and also used Letssingit.com and Google Translate. There are also lyrics in the video below (click on it to view it on YouTube). A couple of lines in the chorus aren't the best translation, so if you're a native or fluent Spanish speaker and have a better translation please let me know. :)

We're finally getting the new season of the reality TV series Unexpected in the UK! Season 3 was shown in the US last summer , and I wondered when we'd get it here. I don't have any online streaming services so thought I'd just watch clips on YouTube, lol. However it's now starting here in early March. I've written several Bollywood posts this year but I don't feature South Indian music/films as much. 20th Anniversary of Mariah's The Emancipation of Mimi Album- Part 1

My favourite singer Mariah Carey is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of her 10th studio album The Emancipation of Mimi. It was released back in April 2005. I'd planned to write just one post about the album but it was turning into a really long one, so I've decided to divide it into two parts! Here is Part 1. :) The Emancipation of Mimi (or TEOM for short!) was considered Mariah's "comeback album" at the time, following on from her previous two albums, Glitter (2001) which was accompanied by the film of the same name and Charmbracelet (2002). Neither the Glitter movie or album were very well received and after going through a difficult time in general, Mariah had an emotional and physical breakdown and checked into hospital that summer.
