A few Japanese artists have new songs out, so here are the latest releases. :)
Update 14/9/18: Avex videos are now blocked from being shown on third party applications. If
you click on the videos you can watch them fine on YouTube. :)
Namie Amuro- Just You and I
First up here's Namie Amuro's latest single Just You and I. It came out in May. This is the short version of the music video. (Her record company Avex tend to upload short versions).
Update 7/11/18: I had to replace the video but I think it's the same.
Update 2- 17/8/24: Namie's official music uploads have now been removed unfortuntely. :( But here's a here's a video of a live performance of the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5gzjIPXqNQ
GENERATIONS- New song
This is GENERATIONS from EXILE's new one. They are part of the 19 member supergroup EXILE TRIBE. There are 7 members in GENERATIONS- leader Alan Shirahama, Ryota Katyose, Ryūto Kazuhara, Mandy Seikguchi, Reo Sano, Hayato Komori and Yūta Nakatsuka. Alan and Mandy are also members of the main group EXILE.
To date GENERATIONS have released 3 albums- Generations (2013), Generation Ex (2015) and Speedster (2016), and around 13 singles including Brave It Out, Animal, Evergreen, All For You, Namida and this one. All For You and Namida were No 1 in the Oricon Singles chart. They have just been on a world tour called MAD CYCLONE and are going on a Japanese tour called SPEEDSTER in July.
The song title is written in Japanese so I'm not sure what it's called! One of their new songs is called Sora but I think that's a different one. I'll update when I know more. :)

EXILE THE SECOND- Summer Lover
EXILE THE SECOND are another EXILE group. The band consists of members Kenchi Tachibana, NESMITH, SHOKICI, TESUTYA, Keiji Kuroki and AKIRA. With the exception of AKIRA they used to be known as Nidaime J Soul Brothers (not to be confused with the current J Soul Brothers). They were the second J Soul Brothers (the first were active from 1998 to 2001 and the third generation are active now) until their retirement in 2009.
In 2012 they made a comeback as The SECOND from EXILE and released debut album, The II Age (2014), then went on hiatus until 2016 when they returned once again as EXILE THE SECOND, releasing the single YEAH YEAH YEAH last summer. (I was a bit confused there with the different names and groups but I think I've got it now! lol). Their second album BORN TO BE WILD was released on 1st March (my bday!).
Summer Lover is EXILE THE SECOND's latest song. The video was uploaded to YouTube on 31st May.

FAKY- Someday We'll Know
And here is girl group FAKY's new single Someday We'll Know. It's from their major debut mini album Unwrapped which is due out next week (14th June).
Bonus
Flower- MOON JELLYFISH
This isn't that new (it was released in April) but I thought I'd include it as a bonus. :) Girl group Flower are part of E-Girls, the sister unit of EXILE. They started out as a dance unit who were backing dancers for EXILE. (Some members of the EXILE group seem to be dancers rather than singers). Members are leader Manami Shigetome, Shuuka Fuji, Harumi Sato, Mio Nakajima, Reina Washio and Nozomiu Bando.* Former members are Erina Mizuno, Chiharu Muto and Kyoka Ichiki.
To date the group have released 2 studio albums, Flower (2014), Hanadoeki (2015) and a best of album, THIS IS Flower THIS IS BEST. Their singles include debut Still, Blue Sky Blue, Hitomi no oko no Milky Way, Monchrome/Colorful and MOON JELLFISH. They are set to release their 15th single Taiyou no Elegy in August.
Note: Original video was gone, so I replaced it with this one which was uploaded in August 2017. It's Sony so can be viewed directly on the blog.

*You might see their names the other way round with the surname first sometimes because that's how Japanese names are written. I originally saw their names written the Western way on Wikipedia but in their Generasia profile it's the Japanese way. :)
