Teen Mom 2

Teen Mom 2 just started in the UK. For those who don't know, Teen Mom is a spin off series from the TV show 16 and Pregnant, which (as I'm sure you can guess, lol) is about pregnant teenagers. There is also a series called Teen Mom which follows the lives of four teenagers from the first series of 16 and Pregnant, Maci, Farrah, Catelynn and Amber. Teen Mom 2 is about four more girls, Leah, Chelsea, Kailyn and Jenelle. Here is some info about the girls (based on the series currently showing in the UK):

Leah Messer 

Has twins Aliana and Aleeah with Corey Simms. She and Corey had only been together for a little while when Leah got pregnant. At the end of their 16 and Pregnant episode they broke up because Leah cheated on Corey with her ex-boyfriend Robbie. At the beginning of Teen Mom 2 Leah wants Corey back. In last week's episode, Leah is concerned because Ali is developing slower than Aleeah and has taken her to the hospital.

Chelsea Houska

Has daughter Aubree with ex-boyfriend Adam. Adam has treated her badly in the past and didn't seem to want to be involved in Aubree's life. However at the start of Teen Mom 2 he seems to have changed his mind. Chelsea, who has moved into a house with her friend Megan, is missing Adam and considering getting back together with him.

Kailyn Lowry

Has son Isaac with ex-boyfriend Jo. She doesn't have a good relationship with her mum, so Jo's family took her in while she was pregnant. At the beginning of the series, she and Jo have broken up but Kailyn is still living in his house, she's moved to the basement. She's also just started a new relationship with Jordan, a boy who she works with and this is causing tension with Jo and his family. 

Jenelle Evans

Has son Jace with ex Andrew (although there have since been rumours that Andrew might not be Jace's father). At the end of her 16 and Pregnant episode, Jenelle was relying on her mum Barbara's help to raise Jace because she still wanted to do the things she did in her old life e.g. going out partying. In Teen Mom 2, Barbara has decided to sue Jenelle for custody of Jace.
              

In the original Teen Mom, my favourite girls were Maci and Catelynn. Maci just seemed the most likeable to me and I thought Catelynn coped well with giving her daughter Carly up for adoption and living in a difficult home environment. I haven't watched Teen Mom 2 enough yet to have a favourite. Teen Mom 2 is on MTV on Wednesdays at 9pm.

New Unexpected

We're finally getting the new season of the reality TV series Unexpected in the UK! Season 3 was shown in the US last summer , and I wondered when we'd get it here. I don't have any online streaming services so thought I'd just watch clips on YouTube, lol. However it's now starting here in early March. Similar to the popular MTV franchise Teen Mom , Unexpected focuses on teen parents. The first series featured 3 couples expecting babies- Lily Bennett and her boyfriend James Kennedy who have daughter Aaliyah, now 2;  Mckayla Adkins and partner Caelan Morrison who have son Timothy, also known as Timmy (and now daughter Gracelynn , born in January 2019), and  Lexus Scheller and boyfriend Shayden Massey who have daughter Scarlett. South Indian Videos

I've written several Bollywood posts this year but I don't feature South Indian music/films as much. So today I'm sharing some music and dance videos from Tollywood ( the Telugu language film industry) and Kollywood (the Tamil language film industry). :) Oo Antava Mawa- Pushpa- Dance Cover by Sonali First up is a dance cover of the song Oo Antava Mawa..Oo Oo Antava from the 2021 Tollywood film Pushpa: The Rise- Part 1 . 20th Anniversary of Mariah's The Emancipation of Mimi Album- Part 1

My favourite singer Mariah Carey is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of her 10th studio album The Emancipation of Mimi. It was released back in April 2005. I'd planned to write just one post about the album but it was turning into a really long one, so I've decided to divide it into two parts! Here is Part 1. :) The Emancipation of Mimi (or TEOM for short!) was considered Mariah's "comeback album" at the time, following on from her previous two albums, Glitter (2001) which was accompanied by the film of the same name and Charmbracelet (2002). Neither the Glitter movie or album were very well received and after going through a difficult time in general, Mariah had an emotional and physical breakdown and checked into hospital that summer.
