This week's video is Wading by Jhené Aiko . It's from her debut album Souled Out which came out last September. Two of my favourite singers are Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez . This week's music video is Tera Mera Rishta from the Bollywood film Awarapan (2007). Along with Toh Phir Aao and Mahiya it's one of my favourite songs from the film. In the video Shivam (played by Emraan Hashmi ) is in mourning for his fiancee Aaliyah ( Shriya Saran ). She was accidentally shot by her father during a fight with Shivam. This is the video for Mila J's new single Champion featuring rapper/singer B.o.B . It's from her EP M.I.L.A (Made In LA) and is available on iTunes now. :) When Mila is dressed as a man it makes me think of Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines video (you know the one!), lol. Especially with the hashtags . Maybe it's meant to be a parody? Note: The song contains explicit lyrics.

Here is the first Girls vs Boys post of the year. :) It's between K-pop groups AOA and BTS . AOA are a girl group/band who formed in 2012. Their name is short for Ace of Angels. AOA has 8 members altogether but they are divided into 2 halves. One half is an idol dance group with 5 members and the other half is a band who play instruments (guitar, drums, keyboard and bass).  Seol Hun, Cho A, Hye Jeong, Chan Mi, Yu Na,  Ji Min, Min A and You Kyung make up the whole group, all of the members except You Kyung are in the idol group, and then You Jyung, Yu Na, Mi Na, Cho A and Ji Min are in the band. AOA describe themselves a 7+1 group. It's a bit confusing but I think I get it now! There are also two sub units, AOA Black (made up of Ji Min, Cho A, Yu Na, Mi Na and You Kyung)  and AOA White (made up of Seol Hyun, Hye Jeong, and Chan Mi). Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a good one. :) Today's video is Red Love by Pia Mia .  Her full name is Pia Mia Perez and she's from Guam . Pia started out by recording videos of herself singing and uploading them to YouTube. She went on to work with music producer Nic Nic and released a free mixtape called The Gift in December 2013. Red Love is on The Gift and was her debut single. Pia also covered Drake's song Hold On, We're Going Home . Last February she released The Gift on iTunes but it only had 6 songs rather than the 8 which were on the free version. That same month she signed to Interscope Records and in May brought out the single Mr. President. Her debut album is due out this year. Red Love was released on 9th December 2013 in the US. Commenters on YouTube think the song is about losing your virginity to your first love and then him leaving you once he's got what he wanted.
