This week's video is Kala Sha Kala from the upcoming Bollywood film OM . The movie (which was previously titled Om- The Battle Within but is now called Rashtra Kavach Om ) is due out on 1st July, and stars Aditya Roy Kapur as the title character Om and Sanjana Sanghi as Kavya. It's an action thriller about Om, a soldier who is on a mission to prove his father's innocence but suffers memory loss. The film also stars veteran actor Jackie Shroff . The Kala Sha Kala video was uploaded on 16th June and it features Iranian born model and Bollywood actress Elnaaz Norouzi as a dancer (the item girl , I believe) and Om (Aditya). The playback singers are Raahi and Dev Negi .  Note: I think the song title translates as "Purely black", "Black is black" or something similar. I know that the word "kala" is "black" or "dark" in Hindi and can be used in an offensive way , but I don't think that's the case in this song. :) There

Today's video is Give Me a Kiss by French born American singer Lolo Zouai (full name Laureen Rebeha Zouai). It's from her upcoming 2nd album. No word on a release date yet though. Her next single Blur is due out in 2 days (24th June). Give Me A Kiss is a sensual song with a good beat and hypnotic vibe! It was released in April.     Lolo fan? Sorry the 2nd post is later this week/end, I've been working on one about Asian boybands but it's not finished yet. I also was feeling a bit unwell yesterday. I don't think I'll be able to finish the post today since it's quite long (plus I'm working on another post over on my seasonal living blog The Seasonal Life ).  So today I'm sharing a couple of K-pop in Public (dance covers of Korean songs/dances performed in public) videos instead. :)  (K-POP IN PUBLIC NYC) FEARLESS- LE SSERAFIM- Dance Cover by CLEAR   First up is a dance cover of new girl group LE SSERRAFIM's debut single FEARLESS (released in May) performed by American dance group CLEAR OFFICIAL. They are based in New York and formed in 2018. The video was uploaded on 4th June and the dancers are Julia Hansen, Gina Liu, Yunah Seo, Lucy Bao and Jiwon Yoo.   Interesting info: LE SSERRAFIM is an anagram for "I'm Fearless". Today's video is Beautiful Lies by American singer Nija . It's from her debut EP Don't Say I Didn't Warn You which was released back in January. Beautiful Lies is a smooth R'n'B song. Jennifer Lopez (who is one of my favourite singers) is bringing out a new documentary. It's called Halftime and follows her in the lead up to her 2020 performance at the Super Bowl LIV Halftime show with fellow singer and Latin star Shakira . The docu also sees J.Lo reflect on her life and career so far. Halftime premiered at the Tribeca film festival in New York on 8th June and is set for global release on 14th June, via Netflix. This week's video is Potion by British (Scottish and English) artists Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa , and also featuring American rapper Young Thug . It's the lead single from Calvin's upcoming 6th studio album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2. I don't think there has been a release date confirmed yet. DJ, producer and singer Calvin and singer Dua have previously worked together, having collaborated on the single One Kiss back in spring 2018. (I think that One Kiss was meant to be included on Calvin's next album at the time.) Young Thug has also worked with Calvin before, featuring on his single Heatstroke (along with Pharrell Williams and Ariana Grande ) in 2017. Potion was released on 27th May. This week's video is Ki me lyp me m'pa by Kosovar singer Nora Istrefi and featuring NRG Band . It's an Albanian language song (I think Gheg Albanian ).
