Top 10 Christina Aguilera Songs

Along with Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez ,  Christina Aguilera is one of my favourite singers. I've done Top 10 posts for Mariah and Jennifer so today I thought I'd do one for Christina too. :) 1. Genie in a Bottle This is my favourite Christina song of all. It's her debut single and was released in America in June 1999 but I think it came out around October in the UK. Genie in a Bottle is from Christina's debut self titled album and is one of her best selling singles to date, reaching No 1 in the US, UK, Australia and Canada and No 2 in other countries. There's a Spanish version which appears on her album Mi Reflejo (My Reflection), Genio Atrapado (which translates as something like "Trapped Genie"). I included it in my recent Top 10 Summer Songs post. Watch the Genio Atrapado video here (it's basically the same as the English one): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsYg48vuOTo 2. Come On Over (All I Want Is You) Come On O...

Jennifer Lopez- Dame Lyrics and Translation

In February I did a post with the lyrics for Nelly Furtado's song Te Busque . It has some Spanish lyrics and I had a go at translating them. I enjoyed that, so I decided to have a go with one my favourite singers Jennifer Lopez's songs. It's called Dame (Touch Me) and is a duet with Puerto Rican-American singer Chayanne . It appeared on her 2nd album J.Lo (2001). Update 13/4/18 : I went over this again and think Dame likely translates as "Give me". I used Google Translate, a couple of other online translation sites and my old Spanish dictionary for help! I had a bit of trouble with the title, "Dame" comes out as "give to me" on Google Translate but since the song is also called "Touch Me" I'm going to presume that's what they're singing. I got the lyrics from Letssingit.com . They're in  the CD booklet too but I also found a lyrics video on YouTube where some of them have an extra bit added or slightly different...

Nelly Furtado- Te Busque Lyrics

A couple of years ago I did the Anggun Lyrics Project (where I wrote out the lyrics for songs from the English version of her album Elevation. I started a similar one with the French songs but didn't get very far! lol. However since I'm better with Spanish than French I decided to have a go at translating some Spanish lrics. I've started out small with Canadian singer Nelly Furtado's Te Busque featuring Colombian singer Juanes . It appeared on Nelly's album Loose (2006) and was released as a single in 2007 although not in the UK, I don't think. Only the chorus is in Spanish. I found out that there is a full Spanish version though which I'm planning to listen to soon. I wrote out the lyrics and also used Letssingit.com and Google Translate. There are also lyrics in the video below (click on it to view it on YouTube). A couple of lines in the chorus aren't the best translation, so if you're a native or fluent Spanish speaker and have a better t...
