Today's video is Call Me by American singer Tweet. Tweet (real name Charlene Keys) debuted in 2002, with her single Oops (Oh My) which was  very successful here and in America. The single was taken from her debut album Southern Hummingbird (2002). She released her second album It's Me Again in 2005 and the first single from that was Turn Da Lights Off. Tweet seems to have dropped off the radar in the last few years. According to Wikipedia she is planning to release a third album called Simply Tweet but it's not clear when that will happen. Call Me is from Southern Hummingbird.

The music from Call Me was also used in the Bollywood song Bure Bure (Boro Boro) from Bluffmaster! (2005 ) and I like that song too, so have included it as well.

Update 25/6/14: Bure Bure (Boro Boro) was sung by Iranian Swedish singer Arash. Watch his video for Boro Boro here:

Top 10 Mariah Carey Songs

I thought I'd do another Top 10, this time of songs by my favourite singer Mariah Carey!

1. Honey

This is my favourite Mariah song of all. It was on Butterfly, the first album I bought in 1997. On Butterfly her music was a bit more R'n'B and hip hop than older albums, or rather a carry on to Daydream which had more of an R'n'B style than previous releases. Butterfly basically expanded on that and it was during the making of this album that Mariah separated from her first husband Tommy Mottola, which allowed her more freedom with her music and generally.

This week it's the video for Dangerous by Kardinal Offishall. Kardinal (real name Jason D. Harrow) is a Canadian rapper and record producer. This song (which features singer Akon) came out in  2008 and I really liked it at the time. I still like it now. It's from his 4th album Not 4 Sale (2008).
