Today's video is Alone With You, the latest single by American singer Alina Baraz . It's a relaxing R'n'B song with her usual dreamy vibes, great for chilling out to! I especially like the slowed outro part, around 3 minutes in. :)  Alone With You was released on 23rd July. We're well into summer now and it's been feeling like it with a mini heatwave in the UK ! Back in June last year I wrote Summer Songs Round-up which shared the previous summer song posts on the blog. Today's video is Got It by Kevin Woo . He is a Korean American singer, formerly a member of Korean boyband U-KISS and is also known as just Kevin. (Not to be confused with Kevin Moon of The Boyz /part of presenting duo Kevin and Jacob !) :) Kevin is from California, but moved to South Korea aged 15 and made his music debut in the boy group XING in late 2006. He later left the group and went onto become a member of U-KISS from 2008 to 2016. After leaving the band, Kevin started a solo career in Japan, debuting in October 2018 with the single Ride Along. It was released in both Japanese and English. He brought out his debut EP Treasure in Japan in October 2019.  He is also releasing music in Korea and America, and his other singles include Freedom, Dreamer, Beautiful Day and Got It.  In addition to singing Kevin has done TV work,  including being a co-host on Arirang's After School Club . It's been a while since I've done a new music post, so today I'm sharing new videos by UK singer Mabel and American singer Normani . :)   Mabel-Take It Home First up is Take It Home, the latest single by Mabel. She has teamed up with the video game franchise Pokémon for their 25th anniversary collaboration , and the music video features Pokémon characters Jigglypuff and Pikachu. This week's video is Stay by The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber . The Kid LAROI (real name Charlton Howard) is an Australian rapper and singer. He has Kamilaroi (Indigenous Australian, also know as Gamilaraay) heritage, which inspired his stage name. The Kid LAROI started his career in Australia and released the debut EP 14 With a Dream in August in 2018 (aged 14). His first international hit was the 2019 single Let Her Go. He became friends with the American rapper Juice WRLD (who sadly died in late 2019) and worked with him on the songGo . It became the first single from The KID LAROI's first mixtape F*ck Love, which was released in July 2020. Several singles from F*ck Love have been released. This is a dance cover of girl group TWICE's   2020 single I CAN'T STOP ME by The Bluebloods Dance. They are an all-girls dance group based in Sydney, Australia and their specialities include K-pop, Jazzing and Waacking . This week's video is a new song by British singer Jessie Ware . It's called 0208 and features Kindness . (Although it is written the other way round in the title, I think that 0208 is the name of the song. Also see the video screenshot.) It's from the re-release of Jessie's 4th album What's Your Pleasure? which came out last year. The new version of the album is called What's Your Pleasure? (The Platinum Pleasure Edition) and was released on 11th June. It contains 8 extra tracks (including a remix of Adore You). 0208 is a nice, chilled song.
