The other week I did a post sharing some new music for 2021. Balvin- Lento Nigerian singer and producer Mr Eazi has teamed up with Colombian singer J Balvin for the song Lento.  It's sung in a mixture of Spanish, English and Yoruba which is a cool mix! It was also inspired by Merengue singer Elvis Crespo's song Suvamente .  Lento means "Slow" in English. Lento is Mr Eazi and J Balvin's third collaboration together, but their first actual single release. It actually came out in early December, but the music video was uploaded on 22nd Dec. This week's music video is Harrom by German born, Kosovo-Albanian singer Dhurata Dora . It came out last month. Harrom is an Albanian language song. I think the title translates as "Forget me" in English. Time for the first C-pop Saturday of 2021! It's become a "semi-regular feature since I started it in 2018 , because I tend to only do a few posts a year, lol. So, here's a selection of new Chinese music. :) Gen Neo- HOLD BACK Last week I featured Singaporean singer Gen Neo's new single HOLD BACK in my first New Music for 2021 post. According to the translation of the Chinese (thanks Google!), it's a dark fairy tale mermaid prequel. YouTubers Mr & Mrs Gao appear in the beginning. Today's music video is Dy Zemra by German born Albanian singer Butrint Imeri and featuring Kosovar singer Nora Istrefi . It was released last September.  It's an Albanian language song, and I think it translates as "Two hearts" in English. The popular American reality show 16 and Pregnant is back! The series, which follows pregnant teen girls on their journey to giving birth, originally aired in 2009. It spawned the hit spin-off shows Teen Mom (now Teen Mom OG) and Teen Mom 2 , plus the short-lived Teen Mom 3 and then more recently Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant . There have even been international versions including Teen Mom UK and Teen Mom Australia . 16 and Pregnant went on hiatus in 2014 after 5 seasons. However, it's now back featuring 6 new girls. The show premiered in the US in October, but it's just started here in the UK. The first episode was Wednesday. This week's video is Make it Hot by Jamaican/American trio Major Lazer and Brazilian singer Anitta . Major Lazer was founded in 2008 by American record producer Diplo , and British DJ Switch . When Switch left, he was replaced by Jamaican American DJ Walshy Fire and Trinidadian DJ Jillionaire , and the duo became a trio. Time for the first post of 2021! Hope everyone had a good New Year. :)  I'm starting off with a couple of new K-pop videos. It's from her 10th album, also called BETTER, and was released on 1st December.
