Nisha Kothari and Emraan Hashmi Videos

Sorry the post is later this weekend; I wasn't feeling that well yesterday and got a bit behind. :)

A couple of months ago I did a post of videos featuring Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi. I felt like doing another Bollywood post so thought today I would feature some videos with actress Nisha Kothari in and a couple more with Emraan too. :)

Nisha's real name is Priyanka but she is known as Nisha in Bollywood. She started out as a model before also acting in Kollywood (Tamil language) and Tollywood (Telugu language) films, where she was known as Amoha. One of her most well known Bollywood films is Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag  (2007). She has also acted in Kannada movies.

Nisha has a "sex symbol" type of image. She doesn't appear to have acted since 2013, so I'm not sure what she's doing these days.

Nisha was an item girl in Darling, performing to the song Aa Khushi Se Khudkhusi Kar Le with Fardeen Khan. Check out the video here:

She's also in Zindagi Jeene Ka Naam Hai from James:

Here is the video for Khoobsurat from the film Agyaat aka The Unknown (2009). It's a horror film about Bollywood actress Aasha (played by Nisha) and actor Sharman Kapoor (Gautam Rode) who are shooting a Bollywood movie in the jungle. When their film equipment breaks down the cast and crew are stranded in the jungle for 4 days. They decide to go on a trip with their guide but end up being hunted down by an unknown enemy!

The playback singers for Khoobsurat are Shweta Pandit and Vickeey B. Joshi. The actor in the video is Telugu star Nithin Reddy who plays the character Sujal. (Agyaat was his first Hindi film). According to Wikipedia the video isn't included in the film. I haven't actually seen it, so I don't know.

Then there's Hibakki from The Killer (2006) which stars Nisha, Emraan and Irrfan Khan. The Killer is a remake of the American film Collateral (2004) and is about taxi related murders. Emraan plays Dubai based taxi driver Nikhil Joshi who is suspected of the murders and Nisha is his girlfriend, bar girl Ria. When Nikhil picks up businessman Vikram (Irrfan) he gets caught in a nightmare.

This is a more lighthearted video which features some belly dancers! The playback singers are Suzanne D'Mello (who also sang Mahiya in Awarapan), Middle Eastern singer Hamza Faruqui and Earl.

And finally this is Teri Yaadon Mein from The killer. The singers are K.K. and Shreya Ghosal.

J Soul Brothers (Japanese boyband)

I don't know that many Japanese boybands. It's funny but I mostly know Korean groups and Japanese solo singers! I know KAT-TUN, Arashi (although they're more of a rock group, I think) and Hey! Say! JUMP but not many more. A friend recently introduced to me the band (or vocal and dance unit) J Soul Brothers, so I thought today I'd do a post about them. And of course it fits into the J-pop and K-pop theme I'm doing this month! This is a good opportunity to find more J-pop boybands too. :)

The J Soul Brothers were originally formed in 1998 but have gone through two line-up changes. The current incarnation- full title Sandaime (Third Generation) J Soul Brothers from EXILE TRIBE* or J Soul Brothers III- was formed in 2010 by HIRO who is the leader of Japanese boyband EXILE (which has an impressive 19 members!) and founding member of the First Generation J Soul Brothers.  It was decided that EXILE and former Nidaimie (Second Generation) J Soul Brothers members NAOTO and …

Dance Moms- Chloe Update

Series/Season 7 of American reality show Dance Moms is currently showing in the UK and I recently heard that one of the original dancers Chloe Lukasiak will be returning for the finale.

Chloe and her mum Christi weren't liked by the dance teacher and studio owner Abby Lee Miller and Christi often clashed with Abby. They left at the end of Series 4. Abby treated Chloe horribly in my opinion, once referring to her as "that girl over there" instead of her name. I always disliked the way Abby punishes the girls if she falls out with their mothers. Also Abby seemed to want to Chloe to fail in competitions, which was weird because she was one of her students representing her!! I think she just wants to be proven right a lot of the time. Chloe was my favourite out of the original girls (Chloe, Maddie, Nia, Mackenzie, Brooke  ans Paige, although Kendall joined quite early on) and I was glad for her when she finally left because she didn't have to put up with being treated li…

Christmas Round-up

In October I did a Hallowe'en round-up post. Since today is Christmas Eve I thought it would be cool to do a Christmas round-up. :)

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis (Narnia)

This is the 2nd book in the fantasy children's series The Chronicles of Narnia. Originally published in 1950, it's become a kid's classic. The series is about the magical land of Narnia which is actually meant to be Heaven. It's ruled over by the great lion Aslan (who is like Jesus). But if you're not religious (like me) it's still an entertaining story.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is about siblings Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie who are evacuated from London to the country during the Blitz. They go to stay with Professor Kirke who lives alone apart from his housekeeper Mrs. Macready. While looking round the house the youngest girl Lucy discovers an entrance to Narnia in the back of a wardrobe. She comes out in a snowy…
