Weekly Music Video

Sorry I haven't posted for a couple of weeks. :) Today's video is by the Finnish gothic/symphonic metal band Nightwish. They've been together since 1996 and the original members were songwriter and keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen, singer Tarja Turunen and guitarist Emppu Vuorinen. Bassist and male vocalist Marco Hietala joined in 2002, replacing the original bassist Sami Vanska.  Tarja was basically kicked out of the band in 2005, in a letter which was also published on the website and  later replaced by Anette Olzon. Tarja has gone on to have a solo career and released three albums, a Christmas album called Henkäys Ikuisuudesta, My Winter Storm and What Lies Beneath. I prefer Tarja's vocals to Annette but I think Annette sounds alright. However I've just read that she has also left the band and they currently have a subsitute vocalist, Floor Jansen who used to be in the band After Forever. Nightwish have released 7 albums and their latest one is Imaginareum (2011). This video is for the song Nemo which was a single from their album Once (2004).

Weekly Music Video

Sorry there wasn't a 2nd post last week, I was going through a bit of a stressful time and didn't manage to get one finished. :) This week's video is I CONDEMN by Australian singer and rapper The Kid LAROI . It was the first single from the deluxe version of his second album BEFORE I FORGET. The original album was released in January and the deluxe version came out on 24th April. It contains 9 extra tracks, including  I CONDEMN and latest single PIECES. I wasn't aware that there was a deluxe version until I saw that some new songs had appeared on Spotify! I like BEFORE I FORGET and my favourite songs from the original version are ME + YOU, JULY,  COME DOWN and RATHER BE featuring Australian rapper and singer Lithe . One of my fave songs on the deluxe version is QUIT YOU, and I also like HOLD STILL and I CONDEMN. The newest single PIECES came out on out the same day as the album. K-pop Comebacks- BTS

Sorry the 2nd post is later again this week, I didn't manage to get it finished yesterday. :) Last month I started a mini series called K-pop Comebacks, featuring the comebacks of K-pop groups during 2026.
